Agree. And Beckham worked hard too.

I don't remember any game that I've hated watching as much.

he was awful... and lazy as feck.

gave the ball away far too many times... and wasn't willing to overlap on the wings.

Well I'm not going to watch it again to reassess. I'd rather go to the dentist.

Sometimes I think its good to take a step back from football, so that you can just enjoy it for the entertainment.

Actually, I'll take your word for it - because it got so I couldn't watch a lot of it and I made do with the radio.

The bits I did watch Becks seemed to be doing his best.

I think this game is a perfect example of why Man United will never win the league again for a few years.Just not that good.

and are only 2 points behind Arsenal..

so, cheer up!! ;) </strong><hr></blockquote>

I'm not unhappy.

I'd actually like to see that team again because it should have done a lot better.

For purely fantasy football league reasons it was good to see Beckham score today....shame Scholes got booked though.

:)

Cole is out - miserable git has chucked his dummy out of the pram again.

I agree with that abilty we won't and shouldn't win the league this year.
But saying that because we aren't playing good now we won't win the league for a few years, thats pure bullshit, or wishful thinking. ;)

We have a lot of quality. We just don't have the depth to change things around if the quality is on an off day.

The team we put out today is capable of so much more.

That's why we shouldn't be talking about who is leaving, but about who's coming in. No point in selling players if we want to have a strong squad.

that was crap crap all through apart from Rio ans Fab ......we used to be able to pass to each other .....

We ground out a result. We've lost a bit of steel imo - we showed nerves.

We won, the Arse lost! :D

We won but we were so shit today, villa could of easily had 2 0r 3 goals, anyway the arse lost so its a good day. And as for Rio, he still has not convinced me yet!!.

Heard off a Blackburn fan today that he had a fight with Soumess at the training ground yesterday.

At the end of the day, this is how league titles are won and lost. Very rarely does great football come into it. It's down to the grindstone now, and at the moment it is all in our hands. If we now win every game, we will win the league! :D

And so say all of us. :)

We were crap today but we won. Barthez played like a man inspired and could yet be the key to us sneaking the title.

The loss by Arsenal is going to give a huge boost to the whole squad since they will now believe for the first time this season that the league is in their hands. Huge weekend for us - we know we can play better - and if we do we may yet win the league.

Noticeable when the arses scrape a win people say it's the sign of a great team, yet it's a different case altogether for us.
