The confidence in that take was mesmerizing. Can you believe how he was with crosses when he arrived? It's clear that it just wasn't in his education rather than actually being something he was going to naturally struggle with.
That was as laid back a catch as I've ever seen. Brimming with confidence.

No, if you disagree with what I said then come up with a valid explanation. Theres nothing in the rules saying that you should get a second yellow for a tackle like that, so saying RVP should have been off is daft, and people were saying that. Thats what my post was about, and if you disagree you have to think RVP deserved a red, no? If you think that, then learn the rules, or in other words, "learn football".

I try not to indulge posters who start off by insulting people.

Fair fecks if he plays well today, but I really am struggling to think as to why Kagawa has such fandom amongst United fans here. His performances doesn't deserve this.

The talk has been mainly about Coleman, who probably would cost us 20m. Bringing on Coleman means the end of Rafael as a United man. I would not endorse casting off Rafael for Coleman.

Varela is no younger now than Rafael was when he broke into the first team. He's ready to be a sub for Rafael.
Seriously?, such an absolute?

Such a big difference have Rafael at right back rather than Smalling. He has been the creator of both goals, winning the free kick with some fancy foot work and then sending in the cross for the second.
and he can actually defend too. which can't be said for some others.

Give De Gea a life contract worthy of 300k/week and make him captain.

We've been force fed with Valencia and Young's insipid performances for 2 thirds of a season. Anything compared to them is miles better

It is more about what football he stands for than his performances in the United shirt so far. That and what he did for Dortmund, eventhough his role there is often overstated by some of his supporters.

In short, its about potential.

Because he was mesmerising at Dortmund and yet he never got a fair crack of the whip here. His performances there don't deserve the lack of performance time here.

We need two high quality players in every position. I think Januzaj and Kagawa could give us that on the left.

Well I havent seen Varela so i cant comment. You watch him do you?

Only in bits and pieces, and even then only against other U21 players. That said, he's looked very good. Match reports have been extremely positive.

Surely there must be a reason to have a u21 side.
