Away Game
This Wednesday
8 o Clock kick off

Team should be...

GK: De Gea

RB: Jones
CB: Vidic
CB: Evans
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Carrick
CM: Giggs
LM: Welbeck

CF: Rooney
CF: RVP

Subs: Lindegaard, Smalling, Buttner, Cleverley, Powell, Kagawa, Hernandez

De Gea
Rafael Vidic Evans Evra
Carrick Rooney
Valencia Kagawa Nani
Van Persie

Not sure why Rafael didn't play today, but he'll probably play on Wednesday. Nani there is more out of hope than anything else, Welbeck will probably start on the left if I'm guessing what Sir Alex will do. Valencia was pretty good so he keeps his spot. Think Rooney and Carrick will stay together in midfield again because it worked pretty well in Stoke. Hope we get a nice and easy win. Won't be able to watch it though because of exam I have at the same time :(

:wenger:

He's a disaster in midfield. I'd be quite happy with Cleverley Carrick but since the former doesn't get games anymore, Rooney in there wouldn't be too bad with Kagawa playing right behind RvP and with Giggs and Nani on the wings.

Vidic has to play if we need to keep a clean sheet amidst all the aerial bombardment.

You keep saying you've got someone scoring,
someone you call Andy, but confess.
You've been missing where you shouldn't have been a missing,
and now someone else is getting all your best.

These goals are made for scoring, and that's just what they'll do
one of these days these goals are gonna score all over you.

Isn't Rafael injured?

De Gea

Jones
Rio
Evans
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Rooney
Welbeck

Kagawa
RVP

Nothing on physioroom about Rafa. If he is injured, I'd play Jones again. Other than that, I'd like to see this:

Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Welbeck Rooney Kagawa
RVP

For realism's sake, I guess it's going to be Valencia not Welbeck. But I hope that for once Fergie gives Kagawa a couple of games in a row. He was very good today.

EDIT: Oh, and wtf is going on with the OP? Proper car crash.

 op

It's really shit. No hard feelings.

Please put the normal emblems etc. :)

@OP :lol:

I thought I was entering a PES thread for a second.

Team should be:

-----------------DDG

Jones*-------Evans--Vidic-------Evra

---------Carrick----Rooney

Nani----------Kagawa--------Giggs/Welbeck

---------------RvP

*Rafael, if fit

----------------DDG------------------
Rafael------Rio-------Vidic--------Evra
Nani-----Carrick-----Rooney---Welbeck
---------------Kagawa----------------
--------------Van Persie---------------

Subs: Lindegaard, Evans, Jones, Cleverley, Giggs, Valencia, Chicharito.

RVP getting a guard of honor at Emirates will be pretty good anyway.

-----------De Gea-------------
Rafael--Jones--Ferdinand--Evra--
-------Carrick--Cleverley-----
Welbeck---Rooney---Kagawa--
-------------RvP-------------

Maybe Smalling to start at right back, they have a few big players West Ham and we all know how they play, we might prefer the aerial ability of Smalling over Rafael.

Given West Ham's preference for direct football, what's wrong with the same back five as played against Stoke?

Ok with the rest but Valencia instead of Welbeck.

Then again, I'd quite like to see Rooney again in centre-mid. Not convinced it's his position but should given him a run there - where's the harm?

I can't see Vidic playing 2 games in the space of 4 days, not a chance.

They're a lot less direct at home than most think. It won't be anything like the same tactics Stoke used. Can see Rafael back at RB

Having said that I think we will play with some confidence and win

I can't see Vidic playing 2 games in the space of 4 days, not a chance.

He played Norwich on the 2nd March then Madrid on the 5th. Not necessarily saying he will, but there is at least an outside chance he could play and I hope he does to help us to deal with their aerial threat. Vidic also organises people so well.

At this point of the season with nothing else to play for I say that we put on our strongest line-up and see to the title is wrapped up as early as possible. Then we can give some PL time to some of the young players like Powell.

Please no Valencia he is god awful at the moment.

Jones at rightback.

If Vidic is fit enough to play then he should otherwise play Evans with Rio.

I would rather play Nani and Young with Carrick and Cleverley in the middle.

Rooney and RVP up front.
