No I don't.

I am, though, realistic about Rooney's negative influence on the squad. Prior to Rooney's return the players were working in a more solid direction. The crossing into the box had been much better. And the ball had made it into the net more often.

It's about attitude, unity, and results. Rooney has lacked in all three areas.
 
Apparently beating Wigan gives us as much points as beating Chelsea would.

Absolutely! He might not have scored since a longer time, but his work rate, passing, crossing etc is brilliant. A constant threat.

We now see the result as Scholes plays further upfront and Rooney can play whererever he wants

The goal from Saha was brilliant. To bring that ball under control was very difficult, very well taken goal!
