We were poor, VERY poor!

We lacked creativity.

O'Shea and Ronaldo playing on their less preffered side (and so having to cross with their weaker feet) really prevented us supplying van Nistelrooy with the crosses he thrives on.

Fletcher struggled too, trying too hard at times and not being able to produce that final ball and what the hype prior to this season suggested from him (Bolton game being his only really convincing performance - he still needs time and should not be playing in the important games.)

van Nistelrooy seems to have run out of ideas playing up front alone, he had no support and the two centre backs were able to deal with him comfortably. He is not getting any support, he was the only one in the box for Scholes cross.

Wes Brown is not settled at centre back and Ferdinand is going to be a huge loss. Perhaps Wes at right back and Gaz in the middle may be something we will have to resort to (though that will mean losing Gaz's excellent crosses).

Keane disappointed me too, no where near his best. Not able to motivate the team like usual and did not do much with the length of time he received the ball.

And that with a below par Scholes (with a few flashes of brilliance) was asking for what happened..

And that my friends is what stood out to me..

OMG!! Wolves?!?! we lost against wolves.. very poor performance.. bellion nearly scored 2 goals scholes nearly scored 1 and van nisterlooy nearly scored 1.. while they nearly scored first but the shot hit the post

terrible slip by wes.... opposition teams seems to always playing champions league form whenever they are facing us... :(

so many chances on the right for fletcher to get a good cross but always ended up with the opposition defence...

this is the most embarassing moment for many united fans... champions losing to the last team in the league.... :(

the players will surely get the hair-dryer treament...

nearly, nearly, nearly.... just couldn't put the ball in the fecking net could we?

The one and only good thing to come out of that match was O'Shea. After a slow start to the season he has been coming good lately, and today was back to last years form. He was the only one on the field putting in dangerous crosses, and he beat his marker quite a few times.

You know something is wrong when your right back looks like your most dangerous attacking weapon. :nervous:

Not to pick on Wes, but O'Shea and Fortune played quite well defensively (JOS not bad going forward today either), so Gazza might just feature at CB.

and against wolves, with one of the shittiest defenses in teh league

This was just horrible to watch. Their keeper was pretty good, but we really didn't trouble him enough. Weak in the midfield, no chances up front= bye bye top of the table, probably.

I hope this is the kick up the arse that we needed. For the amount of possession we had, we hardly ever created anything.

Someone's going to be on the recieving end of a thrashing soon

Let's just hope that this wasn't the kick up the arse that Arse needed. I could easily see them picking up confidence as a result of our dropped points.

It was unfortuante for Wes, but I think you'll find the Wolves goal came from OUR throw-in.

Maybe so, but that is the type of blunder that reminds me of Silvestre's gift against Bayern Munich in the CL three years ago in Munich. I hope he improves quickly before the next CL games.

The easiest 3 points we will ever pick this season.scoreline - even 6-0 wouldn't flatter us whatever the line up.Time to get back to winning ways, and offcourse Incey once a OT favourite turned scouser now plays for Wolves.Life couldn't get much worse for Dave jones and his men.

EH?

Well everyone thought this was a banker win and we lost. Our next PL game is against southamton which are much harder oponents and if we don't win that game, there will be some serious head banging going on!!.

The loss to Wolves was an untter disgrace. Hope SAF roasts the team over it. Highly paid professionals who cannot do the job. They really need to jolt themselves to reality and focus for the rest of the season. There is no excuse to lose to the bottom team in any league especially when you are at the top. Club pride would have ensured at least a draw, which would have been viewed as a disaster in itself. What a joke !
