I know we've spent big on De Gea but I'm still wondering if there's going to be some competition there.
Brilliant display so far from Macheda, two really composed finishes as well as some nice build up play and that run and shot had some fantastic technique, pace and showed his two-footedness again.

He has scored a few absolute crackers for our Academy and Reserves sides with his left-foot. Definitely a real facet of his and something that is a big attribute for a striker.

I'd prefer Diouf central. Didn't look too happy wide for Blackburn. I'd like to see Macheda go wide, and Diouf play as a striker.
Obertan wins a corner
In all fairness, whilst Macheda has scored two good goals, and had another great chance, he's not expecting to many of these passes. Giggs has found him three times, but he wasn't prepared. Put Owen there and I'd expect him to do something. Don't get me wrong, very impressive moments for him, but I just want him to go to that level I know he's capeable of.
