If anyone has the time it kicks off in the Uk and other details let me know and I'll add them.

Yeah that would help wouldn't it

Added.

Unless we sign Sneijder before this game, I'd like to see:

----------De Gea----------
Rafael---Rio---Vidic---Evra
----------Jones----------
----Carrick---Giggs/Ando--
Nani-----Rooney-------Young

Might as well get some practice in being bitch-slapped by Barca early on in the season. Prepare the new guys for when it happens again later on

This could be a real test for the young players and De Gea assuming he starts. I would assume we are underdogs again.

We should've signed Sneijder and Nasri in time for this. :(

Fergie out.

turned down a chance of a ticket for this the other day. I can't get into it, mostly because of the last time we played them.
that and the fact the stadium sucks ass.

flame away!

We'll go ahead 2-1 this time, and we'll all get excited, and then Messi scores a hat-trick and we lose 4-2.

The last 450 posts on this thread will be "WE NEED SNEIJDER!" (400 of those posted by wr8_utd).

In all seriousness, what kind of squad will Barca be using? Heard they used mostly young players in the Audi Cup.

We need to win 3-0 to win the <Don't know the name of this cup> cup, Pre Season US tour '11.

3-1 or 3-2 would do it as well, it's the 'World Football Challenge'. If we win 2-0 or 2-1 we'll draw lots with Real Madrid to decide who wins.

Like in Boxing, are they putting up the CL title on the line? Is it a rematch from earlier this year and the winner becomes the 4x CL winner?? Brave of them to do this...

Why in the world are we doing this? surely this is too soon to face barca again?

If we won it's friendly, if we lose and knock on wood lose badly, it'll dent us psychology more than it do us any good.

Yes. I've been waiting for this match since the final whistle at Wembley.

I doubt a loss in a pre-season friendly will damage us psychologically.
