I agree, double the amount of police hours and I think that would be about the right amount. I'm not saying the police need to be heavy handed but some of these places have no police presence other than a police car that drives past at 30 miles an hour every few hours.

Disagree. A lot of people got their first vote in this general election and voted Lib Dem as an alternative to Labour. It's caused immense anger amongst my generation. That's the same Nick Clegg who pledged to fight tuition fee rises and warned of "riots" if the Tories came to power, by the way.
People think that London's all money, glitz and glamour. There's an entire generation with no money, no jobs, high living costs and an all-round bleak future.

The army need to be dispatched, this is real and going on in and around where people live, ruining lives. The police are here to protect and serve, they're too stretched to do either.
