UK Riots (with the exception of Manchester which has its own thread)

Do be careful....and stay alert.

It's even more worrying when we have caftards in the middle of this. First Mockney and Kinky, now you. :nervous:

Btw..don't mention it to anyone but if you get the opportunity I could do with a new tele...preferably 36" but any size will do. :D

what about me you cnut? I'm in the middle of this too you know!

Confirmed, the local health centre is trying to evacuate the people, but even cabs won't go near now.

It was planned for 3, but I guess the feckers couldn't wait. So far it seems small skirmishes, so fingers crossed it won't go full blown.

shit, he we go then, just watch it spread now like wildfire again

I will do, but there's not much confirmed yet, and certainly nothing like what we have seen yesterday, but I feel it's a matter of time, well, until night really.

Kinky and Mockney's situatuon sounds very dangerous, particularly Kinky, I hope all caftards stay safe and cautious.

I'm not sure calling police "feds" puts you on either side, it's just another name for them.

I know, it's just that all of the comments reported on in the media seemed to make a big deal of the BBM messages referring to "The Feds"
I just thought I'd have a little fun with it.

The police in these situations are in an incredibly difficult position. Nationally people will be expecting them to come down hard on these thugs if it continues again tonight but locally they risk further entrenching an "us vs them" attitude if they use more heavy handed tactics. The problem they have is that of perception, if they are perceived by the disillusioned elements within the local community to be reacting disproportionately, regardless of wether that is the case or not, then a longer term resolution becomes even more difficult. However if they remain too hands off and focus mainly on containment they risk losing the confidence of the wider community.

From experience, you would be surprised how quickly the views of a community can change from revulsion towards recreational crime to resentment towards authority when one or two stray plastic bullets hit apparently innocent bystanders or a teenage rioter is run over by an armoured vehicle.

i just want to say i love you all

well most of you anyway...

well mainly just hectic, I'm having his e-babies you see...

...anyway, stay safe guys

I live very close, there's only a few places that can even be targetted as we have the main city centre bit, which will be the focus, Bletchley which will turn crazy, that's a place no-one wants to be if this starts there, and finally Kingston.

I'll be there tonight so I'll know if it's just speculation or what the situation actually is, but I won't hang around if it kicks off. I think we are very unprepared for anything like what I saw yesterday, especially in central mk.

There's an extremely bad neighbourhood just next to the centre, I think that's where the problems will start from. A lad was shot and killed there the other day, a boy had a dispute, couldn't locate a gun to buy, so he got on a bus, went to Holland, got a weapon, came back, shot the kid in the face immediately. Another kid was also shot next to him, but survived. Fishermead. It's a fecked up place.

fecking hell.

PRO-TIP

On the Sky News feed look behind the people talking for some proper posh totty in short skirts.

I was trained in Cambodia for such events.

 Stay safe sparky, I can imagine your job is hell at the moment.

fecking hell.

Yep, he didn't take a second break. Went around MK, then London, couldn't find a weapon, a friend hooked him up in Holland, he got on the bus, got off the bus, found the kid and killed him. Completely mental that it even happened.

You class traitor, AdZz - first, Kay Bloody Burley and now Sky's other vapid harridans.
*weeps into red handkerchief*

I've said it before, I'll say it again, I'm ghetto-indie.

I riot by night and dine on pasta by day.

Fair enough, I thought as much.

Also news from Manchester newbie - It is to go on Red Alert from 4pm this evening.

LBC - Idiots on there, "put plastic bullets into anyone out there past 9pm".

So you shoot everyone who is out there at 9pm, then circle round and shoot all the people who are still out there. Once they start walking over, shoot them again because they are still out there. Imagine if you walked 30 minutes to get there? You would be shot about 30 times before you got home.

Well, if they've been warned they'd know the consequences of being 30 mins away from home.

Where are the hotspots today/night lads?... live bang inbetween Lewisham/Woolwich/Deptford so I'm expecting the worst... again.

Mockney and his mates are making signs apparently. Its a couple pages back I think.

no, I'm busy saving lives god damn it

 Stay safe sparky, I can imagine your job is hell at the moment.

indeed it is hell on earth, but feck it I'm on holiday after thursday night. helicopter hovering overhead now, wonder what that is all about!?!?!

In my opinion, the problem the Police face is that the thugs clearly don't fear them. They're wandering about and smashing stuff up in plain sight of the Police. Perhaps the introduction of water cannons would act as a deterrent?

I don't envy the decision makers, risk losing the faith of law abiding home and business owners that would like their property protected but are feeling let down by the current tactics, or risk escalating the violence by using more forceful tactics.

i live in the exact same place! if i had the evening off we could meet up, and cuddle all night long while london gets raped

Not sure it's gonna kick off in Manchester.

Not heard anything.

That's bad, that's even worse than pre-meditation.

You'd think that the dispute must have been something serious, but then I think that it could simply be over a 'diss' such is today's society.

Can't understand why we don't use water on these folk. It'll certainly stop them. Most of these kids will turn into right wimps if they get thoroughly drenched.

Actually, police are ready in Manchester tonight apparently.

And society before. And before that.

I'm sorry, but this whole "the world is going to shit" hysteria is really starting to get annoying.

It's just that little bit more sickening to me that those idiot politicians running their mouths whilst actually doing very little at the moment are well away from it all.

It'd be a different story if they had to live it.

Fair point. but kids get away with a lot more now than ever before. I'm sure back in the day if you were setting fire to a shop the police would have battered you, even in this country.

Nope, the other kid said something about his trainers, he killed one of them, put the other in hospital. Welcome to Fishermead. Shops have now been set on fire there.

Think Manchester will kick off before long now...gathering rumours.

Is this some elaborate ruse? Must admit your use of the word 'rape' set off a few alarm bells...

Where you @?

Take no chances! Ah that's great news, at least you will avoid matters if they get worse. I'm hearing the same here, but hopefully it's nothing.
