Manchester United Vs Manchester City.

Does Nani hate Chris Smalling? So many times Smalling made some excellent space for himself and Nani just completely ignored him.

Credit to City though, their back line is like a brick wall at the moment.

honestly can't see us getting back into it. They look menacing going forward now they have the lead and we look completley void of ideas in their final 3rd.

Fletcher and Anderson just not working

What we all feared at the start.
We need Clev back and playing well for the rest of the season. I don't think it's a coincidence that we've not either played or scored that freely since the Bolton game..

And then there are some of us who don't think midfield is a problem. That works if you look at games like Otelul. Not against City.

Nani seriously awful today!

City seriously deserve their lead for being so comfortable. We are the home team obviously we are expected to have more possesion in the beginning

They look more confident as well.

Unbelievble that Midfield is our weakest part yet again. And Fergie still ignores it.

We need to get Nani more involved in the game, Young has been disappointing with his crosses. Might see Valencia come on at RB.

We need to start shooting on sight and stop trying to score the perfect goal.

Anderson has been very good.

We're playing 10 atm as Danny isn't really involved in anything

Not good enough. Sums it all up.

City are playing like we did against against Liverpool but Evans feck up and potent finishing means they are ahead. They've still be more dangerous in the final third.

Started very well, but City looked happy to soak it up. Sucker punch with the goal, not sure who to blame. Either Fletcher/Anderson or Evans. Either way he had far too much space.

Since then their midfield has at times made us look so 2nd best it is quite concerning. Welbeck came into it and was for me the only positive

I take a draw right now, and that be just a blessing.

Didn't do much wrong so far. We dominated most of the first half against our biggest rivals for the title. Having said that, our lack of class in CM midfield which was not detrimental last season is going to tell as City have raised the bar.

What have we dominated? Our attack has been sheep like. City defense are the herd dogs herding us to the flanks and we create nothing and don't pose any danger. That's not dominating.

They're a well drilled defensive unit, to be fair...and we've not got the quality in the middle of the park to unlock them. Hmmmm......perhaps we're missing Cleverly more than we realise.

Their midfield is so much better than ours. It's a big problem this 3 vs 2 battle with two of them being technical gifted players. We need more aggression

Most positive thing about the first half: Although our central midfield doesn't seem good, City are by no means scary. Silva has had a good run or two, but has been closed down. Apart from the goal they've had nothing. We can still get a result if we stop getting paralysed as soon as we reach their box.

Not sure how City scored though... they were barely threatening at all. We were neither though... need to play a lot faster to make things happen. I don't blame Evans for the goal, where the heck was Anderson? And Fletch was only standing there watching...

More his energy in midfield considering Fletcher looks lost.

Energy using what exactly? His energy didn't do any good against Liverpool. What he will bring is more danger in corners which has been like the attack opportunity we've been looking for in this match.
Nothing else he'd offer over Fletcher.

Was always going to be a tough game. Not many teams will take full points off of this City side, there are too many creative geniuses that are on the pitch or that they can call on. It allows them to defend with a lot of men behind the ball and block the passing lanes. Its damn hard to create space against them.
