Manchester United Vs Manchester City.

Fletcher is obviously in the team to get in their face, to break them up in the middle in a more combative way than Carrick could do.

Batter them in the second half. They've put up a wall and we just need to smash it down.

If we dominate midfield and get in behind them we'll get success. One goal will change this game.

Evans been the biggest factor in the score being 1-0 for City. He lost possession high up the pitch, City then posed danger for the first time and then he loses his footing which gives Balotelli space to execute a good finish.

The he has our only chance in the game but misses awfully.

I disagree, Fletcher and Anderson should take as much fault, city had 2/3 pushing forward from midfield, yet Anderson and Fletcher decided to make half arsed attempts at getting back.
Then Fletcher had the audacity to give a "huff" when Balotelli scored, had he made an effort to track back he would have picked him up.
It's the same shit from Fletcher and Anderson every week, failing time and time again to track back, leaving our defence exposed.

This is why Carrick and Giggs is our best combo, Carrick makes an effort to track back and makes interceptions and Giggs craps all over the creativity of Anderson. We'd be beating these if Carrick and Giggs were playing.

Not sure why all the negativity, we have been good if a bit toothless and City scored a good goal against the run of play. Fair enough they got the ball due to a sloppy bit of play from us but I can't blame the defence, it was really well taken by Balloteli. Don't think anyone has been as bad as has been made out.

I don't think anyone is having a go at players for being bad. They haven't been bad. They just haven't been very good. There's no above average performance.

Sky are going to beat us to death with that Balotelli celebration. Eugh.

And if it turns out to be the final score, watch the headlines in the tabloids involving Balotelli and fireworks.

This is the Caf. If you are 1 - 0 down you've lost the game. The team is shit, the world is about to end. Nevermind the fact that we have 45 minutes to go and the last few times we've played City we've come from behind every time. Nope. 1-0 down and we may as well just give them 3 points and go home.

It's one thing critiscising the team for a poor performance, but when the comments come out about them being due a win and it being game over etc, wtf.

Our lack of creativity, consistency or composure on the ball in CM has little to do with City.

Carrick always gets battered by Yaya every time so I don't think he'd make much of a
difference here.

Carrick. Man of match in the CL. Better defensively and a better passer.

Why are people not reading or looking to see that Carrick is not on the fecking bench? We don't have that option. I have hated the Fletcher and Anderson pairing, they are like matter and anti matter.
You have use for players like Fletcher when you have great creative players about.

It was Evans's man. He wasn't close to him and fell down giving him much space to shoot. It was a very good finish but there was no pressure.

Utterly pathetic header into midair led to this.
