Manchester United v Sunderland AFC

1537: As a measure of Manchester United's success under Sir Alex Ferguson, by the way, they have picked up over 200 points more than the next most successful team in the Premier League era, which is Arsenal. United have amassed 1597 points to Arsenal's 1395.

This game so far is utterly rubbish. No desire, no shape, Rooney picking the ball up on the HALF WAY line. Our midfield is poor across the line. Frustrating to say the least.

It's Fletcher, there's no pace to his game any more.

Who's on? You know they're shit and don't know what they're talking about when they bring up "Stats about gum."

No idea, its not Champion and Burley though.

The co-commentator likes to remind us how everytime a united player falls in the box in old trafford the opposition panic

It's because its a 3o'clock kick off, they aren't trying to entertain.:devil:

Great try by Phil.

He's always looking for a chance to have a shot. When there could be better options

Thing is sometimes he waits too long and misses his chance to have a shot anyway. I don't really condemn much for that but he pretty much always ignores the overlap, in fact we have been ignoring the overlap since our dip in form started and it's been happening on both wings. Jones and Evra are both pacey players, let them have a go at getting in behind the defence and putting a cross in.

Some a bit overreacting here.
We've had scrappy first halfs many many times.
Wont be worried till the last 15 mins or so

Good effort Jones

Rooney keeps pushing up too far, leaving us exposed in midfield. I really hope Fergie puts Rooney back where he is most effective ASAP

Apparently Phil Jones hit the bottom of the ball and that's why it went over.

Just incase no-one is aware of basic physics.

Who's the co-commentator on Setanta? That was a blatant foul on Evra.

What an absolute moron.

Sunderland with a good chance there.Thank goodness the player had a rush of blood to the head

ronney needs to play further up field, take either wellbeck or chico off and move rooney up front
