Glad Carrick is back tbh. Giggs with a few wayward passes though as game went on, needs to tighten that up. Sinclair chance was a big one, but we have done well so far. All in all not bad.

Perfectly fine first half I'd say... just need to be a bit clinical/creative in and around the box. Rooney, Nani, Giggs are seeminly playing this game at half pace (and to be fair, getting through it fine) so if those 3 just stepped it up a little bit we should be able to navigate the second half smoothly enough.

He seems to be trying to too hard to be a team man. I'd to see him using his natural gifts and take on full backs and yes, as you say, cross it as well.
Think Young would have been good here. Wingers are being picked out in lots of space, and are allowed one on one with the full back.

Alright half. Carrick has been good. Giggs has been magic/wasteful. Javier has been good and Rooney and Nani no more than average. Good shifts from Park and Evra. Quiet game for Jones. No worries from Vidic, Rio, DDG.
If Dyer was a good crosser he'd be a starter for England, for at least a few games (assuming he's English).
Swansea are a fine team. Nice football they play. Hopefully this game won't follow the normal path of United games lately. 1-0 up at half time followed by an incredibly boring 2nd half. A win comes first though.

too narrow an angle. pass was right idea...just too strong.
We'll score goals in the second half when Swansea players run out of steam after chasing us, same tactics Barcelona did to us in the finals. Let the ball do the running and make the opposition tire before crushing us.

For starters, he should stop attempting those ridiculously stupid long shots and try to up his level.He's more than good enough to score regularly.

This has to be emphasized.He kept things very simple and has retrieved the ball like he's supposed to.
Rooney and Nani should stop making gestures at each others, behave.
I have enjoyed Carricks performance today. He has made it all look so easy. Want to see him and Anderson given a good chance this season
In my opinion we've been way too slow. Keeping possession is fine, but passing it between the back four, then back to De Gea, then him passing it out doesn't seem very effective. Need more movement.
Jones was lucky Sinclair missed his clear chance. Jones was just ball watching there and should've covered Sinclair instead. Apart from that, decent half. Carrick is excellent in front of the defence, but Nani and Rooney have been pretty poor. Hernandez too apart from the goal. Giggs has misplaced too many passes as well. Defence looks solid though, so we just need to sort out our attacking play for the second half and this game should be a safe win.
Swansea have everyone behind the ball when we have it. So it is harder to up the gear.
Has he tried many long shots? I just think he's not carrying the ball enough. He's a better passer than most strikers but he needs to drive forward and remember that he's a striker. He seems to be playing like a midfielder now.
Young should replace Nani quite soon.
I dont think they'll be able to handle it if we up the pace a little in the second half..
