Maybe you're right.. but I'd prefer to sing about a loyal player than a player who was excellent on the pitch. It's just opinion though.. I see all the things Cesc Fabregas says about Arsenal, and I think... that is real love for a club... I don't feel Ronaldo is the same, but then again, maybe Fabregas is just OTT and bad to compare with.
Last year I was loving the Ronaldo chants, and saw people making this argument and completely disagreed, but today as soon as I heard the Ronaldo chants, I instantly felt uncomfortable with it.
