Without Anderson and Cleverley he doesn't suit our style of quick passing quite so well. And of course no margin for error here, Rooney up front is more reliable.

He came off and went and sat straight on the bench - I saw no ice packs or muscle rub etc around; the way I read it was he's being rested for Wednesday.
Think with the state of everyone collapsing everywhere, Fergie saw the writing on the wall and brought off Rio.
And he probably can't play Rio twice in a week without bringing him off like that.
I'm sure our make-up artists can make Carrick look evil enough to pass him off as Gibson.

I think we'll start one up top. We saw at home, how dangerous they can be. The number of good chances they created was embarassing

Yeh but that is when we were still conceeding bucket loads of chances. It's been different since the City game. We've only conceeded 5 goals in our last 9 games.
