No quotes? I'm so shocked.
Not that I think there is anything to these rumours because frankly I don't but lack of quotes doesn't mean a story is always fabricated, especially when it comes to transfers.

fergie told us pogba and morrison arent quite ready yet. (which is obviousley correct)
but he then deems them ready to enter the field in a qauter final in an atempt to ressurect the shit perfomrances of senior fringe players.
thats the dissappointing thing about last night. it wasnt a team full of kids it was a fringe team. id have much rather pogba, morrison, fryers, cole keane etc star the game......if we get thumped then so what........it didnt do the lads who got thumped by york city at home all those years ago any harm.
we seem to be to obssessed with giving games to players who arent performing. perhaps if some of them started last night on the bench the ambarreessment would help them pull their socks up a bit more
I, and others sat around me, thought he played really well. I've recorded the game so I'm going to watch the second half again.
After last night I've been wondering if his lack of playing time in Central Midfield might have had something to do with his performance. It's clear form that he isn't ready yet, but he had been playing out on the wing a lot for the Reserves recently. Maybe the two things are unrelated but the fact that he came into a game where we were having a relatively though time keeping good possession already, maybe his lack of game time at CM recently didn't help him.
Maybe he would do better if played alongside players that basically make up the first team. Youngsters played en masse like that must have any confidence knocked out of them.
I genuinely am shocked at the reaction from last night, particularly to Pogba. I thought people would be very happy with his performance last night and couldn't believe it when I read this thread after the match. Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention to him, but what did he do wrong?

Play youngsters in a disjointed team and that's what your going to get, they need people around them for both instruction and reassurance.
As it turned out, Morrison did ok while Pogba struggled. Neither of them looked like they're anywhere near starting PL games - which you were demanding only yesterday. And now you think we should have started last night's game with more, less-talented kids of the same age? Christ.
You're making an awful eejit of yourself in this thread. They weren't brought on to ressurect anything. They were brought on because players went off injured and Fergie had to make a sub. I'm sure he always intended bringing them off the bench, just not quite so early.

Did OK ? What game were you watching ? Morrison was excellent - alongside Smalling and Gibson, one of the better performers for United. Morrison is ready to step up and should be starting to appear more regularly now. He has all the talent and confidence needed. I know there's another dimension to him which needs careful handling and there's nobody better to do that than Fergie, but purely from a football viewpoint he should be getting the experience now. Pogba is big and strong which is a plus for the EPL and one would like to see him on the bench and coming on in forthcoming EPL games too. Midfield crisis ? What crisis ?!
He was ok.
You can't be excellent when you lose at home to Crystal Palace.
Do you really think Pogba is ready to be on our bench in Premier League matches regularly? He's big and strong? But he struggled against Palace. Morrison did ok and I know you probably have huge expectations, but believe me, you overreact.
He really wasn't. He did well but nothing more than that.
He was out best player in the 2nd half of ET due to his determination to make something happen. He was the only 1 that wanted the ball. But "excellent"? You're having a laugh mate.
Not at all. For a youngster at 18 coming on for his first proper taste of senior football he did very well indeed. In case you didn't notice his movement and pace, speed off the mark, neat flicks and layoffs plus three shots on goal, plus, as you admit, always wanting to be involved were all excellent in my view. Very promising indeed.

Some nice touches and good movement from him. Promising.
Credit to him for his Extra Time performance. Looked like the only 1 who waned the ball.
We don't need 18 year old pre madonnas no matter how good he can be.
And I reckon he has definitely been tapped up by City/Viera

If he really is a pre madonna we should probably pay him whatever he wants.

Well I guess that explains why my joke didn't get any green smilies.
Or maybe cause it was just not funny
People reporting that he has rejected a 15k contract here.
