Barclays Premier League
Saturday 10th December 2011
15:00 PM

That's not Wolves latest kit but who gives a shit.

Lindegaard

Smalling
Ferdinand
Evans
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Fletcher
Nani

Rooney
Welbeck

Need a solid performance but can't see that happening.

Team should be...

GK: De Gea

RB: Smalling
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Evans
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Carrick
CM: Jones
LM: Nani

CF: Rooney
CF: Welbeck

Subs: Lindegaard, Fryers, Pogba, Park, Giggs, Young, Macheda

1-0 or 1-1 Welbeck with the goal

Previous results

10/11
Wolves 2-1 Man Utd - Nani; Elokobi, Doyle
Man Utd 2-1 Wolves - Park x2; Blake

09/10
Wolves 0-1 Man Utd - Scholes
Man Utd 3-0 Wolves - Rooney, Vidic, Valencia
Man Utd 1-0 Wolves - Welbeck

03/04
Wolves 1-0 Man Utd - Miller
Man Utd 1-0 Wolves - O'Shea

Worth mentioning that the win in 2003 was from a very early goal, the win in 2009 was when McCarthy was done for fielding an understrength side and the win last season was with a 90 minute winner

This is going to be a tough tough game

Bucharest
Bucharest
We're the famous Man United and we're going to Bucharest

Hopefully a backlash in this one. Get Carrick back in there, give Rooney a strike partner and hopefully a return to form for Young.

Valencia has to get a run in the team now ahead of Young, he might only have one trick, but he still tends to beat a man much more often than Young.

Nani left, Valencia right, Welbeck and Rooney up top.

And I can't wait for the day that I can say.... Carrick AND Cleverley in midfield.

Carrick and Fletcher will have to start in midfield, there are no other options with injuries and the fact Giggs can't play back to back games. Hopefully Smalling partners Rio and Jones goes to RB.

I'm torn on dropping Young for Valencia as Nani loves the right side and is coming back into form there, so I think I'd leave them as our two wingers and partner Rooney and Welbeck up top.

I think we'd better go back to Welbeck up front with Rooney, at least we'll score something. Can't rely on defense to hold them scoreless.

And not to nit-pick, but our badge shouldn't be smaller than theirs.

2nd game of the season at OT for me, after the 8-2. Hoping for a good performance and some goals.

Obviously its going to be hard for both the players and the fans to pick themselves up and get back to the grind of the league. Don't expect us to play well in this one, will take a few games to get going again me thinks.

2-1. No Vidic = No clean sheet.

Im going for a narrow win 0,5 - 0

 Sad but true. Hopefully, they'll pick themselves up and win this match in style. We are in a similar situation with Citeh, playing in the Europa League, only difference being is that we are behind them in the league. I would bet that Mancini will throw his strongest sides in the PL and Europa since he is under a lot of pressure to win something. Should be good for us if we can get our act together and get players back from injuries soon.

 Rooney scoring.

I would leave him on the bench after that shit excuse of a performance against Basel. If Berbatov's back, play him. If not, stick another extra midfielder.

Please win :(

Can't decide who would be left out from Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans, and Jones. I think Evans should play due to being the freshest and I think Ferdinand should just keep playing now Vidic is out (although I'd have Rio in for nearly every non-Europa game now, unless we progress in the FA Cup). Smalling and Jones have both played a lot, but Jones has scored two goals lately (admittedly from midfield) so maybe it'll be him at Right Back. Central Midfield picks itself since both Carrick and Fletcher are well rested. Valencia will likely start, and I'd still pick Nani as despite indifferent form he can always produce something out of nothing, which very few of our players can do. Morrison might make the bench.

This will end 0-0 or 1-0 to United.

de Gea
Jones
Ferdinand
Smalling
Evra
Valencia
Carrick
Fletcher
Nani
Rooney
Welbeck

Lindegaard, Evans, Fryers, Giggs, Park, Young, Macheda

Would have Jones, Rio, Evans, Evra as the defence, Smalling should rest after 120 + 90 + 90 mins in just a week.

Midfield difficult as always but would not have Young anywhere near the starting line up at the moment. Nani and probably Valencia as weingers. Giggs played the whole game last night so no chance of him playing. Fletcher-Carrick then.

Hopefully Berbatov is fit, would play him and Welbeck upfront. Rooney does not deserve to start at all and hope he's dropped to the bench for this one.

Put a team out there that's going to start every league game from now on. We need to start and find our form again.

As the goals have dried up so badly, I honestly feel Berbatov should be given a little run in the side if he's fit. He can't be any worse than what we've had up top recently:

de Gea

Jones
Ferdinand
Evans
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Fletcher
Nani

Rooney
Berbatov

SUBS: Lindegaard, Rafael, Smalling, Park, Young, Giggs, Welbeck.

I don't care what team takes the field I just want a fecking response.

Please come out and prove to the fans that we're still champions of this damn league.

Hopefully SAF will put his best team out and keep the rotation to a minimum as well.

Come on UNITED!

Winning 1-0 all our remaining matches with shit goals.
