Manchester United vs Wolverhampton FC

no Morrison but Gibson is there :D

:(

I honestly don't get it. If we want to control the game late on both Giggs and Park are as good (if not better) than Gibson at doing that from the central midfield. Going forward they're both better than him too. In other words; there's very little chance of Gibson actually coming on the pitch. Why not bring Morrison instead and throw him on if we need a goal? He's been great for the reserves and did well against Palace, so I can honestly understand him if he's becoming a little frustrated by not even being on the bench.

Fergie said something like Carrick starts the season poor and then gets better after a couple of months. It will be interesting to see how he and Jones do.

Gibson can provide goals as well. I'd say Gibson has a better chance coming off the bench than Morrison would.

Hennessey, zubar, berra, johnson, ward, edwards, henry, o'hara, jarvis, doyle, fletcher.
Subs: De vries, elokobi, stearman, ebanks-blake, hunt, hammill, milijas.

That is seriously shit.
Surely we wont struggle against THAT

Gibson's an experienced central midfielder who's played dozens of PL games and capable of filling in for Carrick or Giggs if they get injured. Morrison, well, isn't.

fecking family dinner starting right as the match is on. There's no way I'll be able to catch any of it.

God damn it.

Im in the same boat but isn't it afternoon where you are ?

I had a dream we beat someone called Alesiure Leisure 5-0 in the FA Cup. Perhaps it's a sign that we will win big today.

Or that my life is very dull.

Think todays games going to be a cracker. I take back my previous prediction. I'm going 5-1, Rooney hatrick.

This must be one of the most inactive matchday threads of the season

We lost a lot of supporters since midweek

I was thinking the same. Usually here will be formations, pepole arguing over team team line up , players on the bench which one top scapegoat when things go bad... and all kind a crap.

This is like a funeral, where the priest say the last words and people just listen to it and leave afterwards...

On the other hand, the newbs probably gained about a million new members...from Merseyside. :D

My point was that Morrison could offer something different around the box, with his flicks and all. I think he's much better at opening up defences than Gibson is. Gibson obviously has other qualities - such as better all-round midfielder - but I'd rather see Morrison coming on than Gibson if we're chasing a goal.

We've got both Giggs and Park on the bench to offer experience if needed.

Cheers mate.

Surprised to see Jarvis start, he's been left out of a lot of away games this year. Going with him and Hunt on the wings and two up top is brave - this won't be easy for us at all.

Let's see if the matchday thread can appreciate this fact for the first 60 minutes. Expect it to be tight until then and then for us to nick it by one or two.

Probably a stupid question but where's your homepage? I can only see the statistics page.
