So our potentially great young centre backs are playing anywhere but at CB. Would've liked at least one of them to get a run in his natural position. I'm sure Gibson is no worse of option for midfield than Jones.

Forgot about that - that's a possibility of course. I actually expected him on the bench today when he wasn't involved in the reserve game.
Just to clarify: I didn't mean to have a go at Gibson, I just don't see what he can offer that Giggs and Park can't, and I think Morrison does offer something different. I know Morrison doesn't have PL experience, but he has to start somewhere and given our current form and injuries this seems like a decent time to give him some experience.

Manchester United winger Nani has revealed the extent of his disappointment following the Champions League exit to Basel, saying he wept in the dressing room.
"I wept like a kid in the dressing room in Basel,” Nani said in an article in The Daily Star."
"All of my team-mates were also affected because nobody could quite believe that we had been knocked out at just the group stage. It was like hell in there. This defeat and the loss at Wembley in the final last May have been the worst two days in my United career."
"I am so sad about what has happened. It is almost unbelievable. The dressing room in Basel was like a funeral. This squad is one which is ready to win big titles, so to go out like this is a complete nightmare," he said.
"We know we are better than some of the other teams, so it is hard to be able to work out exactly how this has happened. I do not think that we were too arrogant or complacent. United are a team which always respects their opponents."

I have had one of the worst weeks ever. United went out, I fecked up one of my assigments and I've had a fecking bug for ages now. This morning my shit was more like water than anything else. This is what I've been waiting for to cheer me up. I fully expect a response and I fully believe we'll win by 5 or more goals.

I think this game could be a good game for everyone to rally together. The players, staff, fans. It's been a tough week and like Fergie said when he first came, it's a team effort.
