Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

They are going to black up all their players tonight with boot polish as a statement of solidarity I heard from an ITK

Liverpool players issue a joint statement! WTF......

"Luis Suarez is our teammate and our friend and as a group of players we are shocked and angered that he has been found guilty by the FA.

We totally support Luis and we want the world to know that. We know he is not racist.

We are a squad of many different nationalities and backgrounds. All of us support the Club's commitment to fighting racism. All of us accept there is no place in the game for any form of discrimination. As a group of players we totally support the Kick it Out Campaign.

We have lived, trained and played with Luis for almost 12 months and we don't recognise the way he has been portrayed. We will continue to support Luis through this difficult period, and as a popular and respected friend of all his teammates, he will not walk alone."

this just gets better.....

What's with the obsession that Liverpool players and the manager and fans have off adding "...he'll never walk alone." at the end of every statement?!

Pretty sure we're going to have the tea lady confirming he takes his coffee without milk soon

darren can is spot on. Darren_Can Darren Can
Had this been Charles Itanje, would the statement have been as strong?Would player of the year polls be rigged? Would players make statement?

Odd that he chose another black player given all of the other non-black players in the squad.

What the feck? Did they not learn from the first statement? Liverpool are becoming a complete laughing stock from top to bottom.

I think he's chosen Itandje deliberately, wasn't it him the scousers all turned on after his behaviour during a Hillsborough memorial? And, conveniently, he was shit?

Yeah, I can see the reasons he did, I just don't know if choosing him as an example of someone accused of racial abuse to a black bloke is quite right. And Liverpool have lots of players that are shit, so he was spoiled for choice really.

Yeah good point, it's not the best analogy type thing.

Anyone in PR should send them a CV, there is obviously nobody at that desk at the moment.

I can't believe that these statements are still getting through, there has to be a number of people not doing their jobs at all, or, they are all completely retarded.

Not really but at the same time, if Suarez was shit, he would never get this much support.

Haven't learned a thing

+ it's even funnier if you imagine it being said in Stevie G's voice.

They've outdone themselves. Now it's the 'joint player statement from LFC Players'.

Luis Suarez is our teammate and our friend and as a group of players we are shocked and angered that he has been found guilty by the FA.

Just digging a deeper hole.

The whole whiny attitude from LFC can't help the appeals process. FA will likely take a harder stance.

Like how we've said feck all.

Who wants a bet the bloke who wrote their shambolic statement last night wrote that too, and has spent the whole day running around trying to get the players to sign off on it.

"If it comes from the players, that'll give it more clout"...Only surprised they didn't include another fruitless pop at Evra.

Don't know if it's posted or not, but Liverpool's official twitter feed also posted this video

They are like a club of Blatters.

Scousers showing their true colours....

Is he really trying to appeal in a civilian court? And is this legally even possible considering no case was brought in a civilian court.
