Fulham vs. Manchester United

Great performance. Why didn't we play like that vs Basel? This team deserves to play in the CL.

When we make football look so easy like that itmakes you wonder what goes on when we go on prolonged spells looking like dogshit.

Carrick once again sublime, Rooney and Welbeck linking well and the widemen using the width of the field rather than cutting in all the time.

Compare this performance to how we got on at the same ground over the last 4 or 5 seasons. The difference is amazing.

The 3-0 four years back is the only comfortable victory in the league I rememeber at their ground in a long time. We did hammer them 4-0 in the Cup though with a magical Tevez goal.

A brilliant first half for us. Loved the possession football, pressing hard and how narrow we defended.

You can see why Nani has been given a statue at this ground. He's been sensational.

Villa and Albrighton get 20k

Fulham's flair is non existent. Captain, two youngsters and Valencia have them in check.

I think the loss in Switzerland has been the making of us. The mark of any great Man Utd team is how they respond to adversity and after that defeat we could´ve retreated further into the shells the City loss had pushed us into. Instead however we´ve responded with defiance, the defensive nervousness is gone, the cautiousness has been banished and we´re again attacking with impunity. Its great to see us back to what we were before the confidence sapped away, long may it continue. Roll on second half!
