Shit, thought I was giving actual news there. Stupid Sky News Break twitter feed.
Guarentee they think they've got one over on us by Suarez not playing in the City game but coming back for United.

When it comes down to it they just cannot shake off the victim mentality. The journos on twitter are having a field day
In my country, 'negro' is a word we use commonly, a word which doesn't show any lack of respect and is even less so a form of racist abuse. Based on this, everything which has been said so far is totally false.
I am honestly baffled and after having read hundreds of posts and tweets by LFC fans I have to ask: Is violence, facist mass hysteria, death threats and racism an inherent component of LFC culture?
Anyone worth quoting?

I can't wait for the proper journos to write about this. In case my shock is tribal.

Another remarkable #lfc statement on Suarez.
Matt Lawton @Matt_Lawton_DM
Another astonishing statement from Liverpool re Suarez. They just don't get it despite deciding not to appeal. Very poor.

#LFC statement is strong stuff but deeply flawed. Once again, they have not acknowledged Suarez ADMITS using calling Evra 'negro'
Paul Hayward @_PaulHayward
Suarez sticking to his defence that "negro" not an offensive term in Uruguay despite experts pointing out it was used aggressively v Evra.

And the Suarez statement...to borrow a word from the commission, 'incredible'
I'm guessing that both LFC and Suarez are saying what they like because the punishment has been accepted.
Here's a quote from Luis Suarez before we get on with tonight's action: "I will carry out the suspension with the resignation of someone who hasn't done anything wrong and who feels extremely upset by the events. I do feel sorry for the fans and for my team mates whom I will not be able to help during the next month. It will be a very difficult time for me."
IMO the club should be charged with misconduct.
If you're appealing fine, state your grounds for appeal. You cant not appeal while at the same time questioning the objectivity of the entire enquiry and everyone involved apart from Suarez, while claiming to be champions of the greater good.
You can't have your cake and eat it. If you want to criticise the inquiry, fine but put your money where your mouth is an appeal officially.
For that they've to lose to Oldham in FA Cup.
