Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

He's talking about how Daglish used to drink his lemonade or whatever then he goes 'but now...' before cutting off to 'and it is a little bit strange.'

So Suarez hasn't even recognised that the word negro isn't acceptable here and he won't repeat it in the future let alone apologise to Evra. It's baffling.

Any reaction from any of our resident scousers to it yet?

Thanks for uploading that Olly, interesting listen. Hilarious off the track commentary from Lawro.

Think he's given too much information there. 'Kenny's battle against alcoholism' will be tomorrow's headline

Twice in recent weeks Dalglish has turned up for press conferences with cuts on his face, after being seen out drinking on the previous nights.

Maybe thats why he's so fond of Carrol.... drinking buddies.

Dalglish just said again that Liverpool would love to say more but can't. After the FA report they should feel free to get it all out there.

Dalglish insists LFC do not regret t-shirts supporting Suarez: "I think it was a fabulous statement to make - a gesture of support...

Dalglish: 'We know what has gone on and what is not in that report'. Says that he does not regret the Suarez t-shirt episode

Talking himself into more trouble with stuff like that.

Funny I thought they had the opportunity to say everything they wanted to at the independent hearing only they ended up contradicting each other, and even themselves.

Yeah we all do, Suarez racially abused Evra and the confession and apology are missing from the report.

Liverpool in their statements have directly accused the FA and the panel of being biased or having an agenda. They can't be allowed to get away with it, especially on such a sensitive issue.

Spit it out, then, you inciting shitbag.

The Liverpool stance seems to be that wearing a t-shirt is a better way to support Suarez than appealing the decision with a reasoned argument. If he's nnocent, prove it or shut up.

I lose my respect for our players if if only one of them shakes the hand with that racist.

That's harsh, though now that you mention it, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets 11 rejections.

Would make the environment a lot more tense, maybe Fergie will tell them to shake in an attempt to put it behind and keep things as calm as possible.

Well he's not a (proven) racist, merely guilty of using racist language. For what it's worth, I think Suarez just (stupidly) tried to wind Evra up ....the ridiculous thing is without the Liverpool statements etc and complete lack of remorse, he'd have got away with a few heckles etc but now he'll get the full vitriol of all the crowds in the country, all caused by Liverpool's actions.

So they've bottled the 'great fight with the Fa', they've just been battered by City and their one half decent player is banned for 8 games and pretty much been branded racist by his own club.

Great day to be a Liverpool fan

It'd be beautiful if all of our players shook his hand, and then the last player, Evra, gave him a hug.

Our entire squad should wear 'Kick Racism Out' thsirts during the warm up :D
