Newcastle United vs. Manchester United

If we lose today doesn't mean anything. Only 3 points behind. I can see them getting a third and finishing us off.

I think you'll find you have to respect any team in the Premier League. 40 minutes left, we need to get a grip on this game and build a way back into it.

Throwing 10 men forward with Ba looking so dangerous going forward is just stupid.

I don't want us to throw everyone forward, but with 40 minutes to go, we really do need to go to an attacking setup. To be quite frank, we don't have enough time to build our way back into the match.

Well if you look at the replay his positioning isn't the best, looks to me that he could place himself better. But to be fair it wouldn't be his fault if we lose today, because we have been playing like Christmas and new years eve aren't over yet

Where is Park playing, he's just floating around without doing anything.

No point in placing any of the blame on Lindegaard. If he'd positioned himself at that side of the goal and Newcaslte had scored, then you'd blame him for that. If you want to blame anyone, blame Jones.

Jones is having a poor game at CB once again, lost the header that led to the first goal and then gave away a stupid foul that led to the second goal. Extremely talented player but he is a lot better at rb and maybe even centre midfield at this point.

So fecking frustrating to watch this. Newcastle close us down so well and we let them do it.

Did Wilkins say we might change the formation to 4-4-3?

I wish... we need it.

discouraging display so far, and against blackburn.

This is fecking diabolical.

Welbeck on, Berba off.

Why is Park still on?

2-0 is a strange lead to defend. 1-0 up and teams are still on edge but 2-0 up and there is a subtle relaxing and then if you give up a goal the nerves kick in. We still have a chance.

They always say, and from experience I would agree, that 2-0 is always the hardest to defend. It takes one moment for the whole momentum to change. We've seen it time and time again.

We should of played a 4-5-1, realizing what we're up against over the weekend and that we needed a solid performance tonight against a very tough team instead of a wonder 6-0 win.

I have criticized Fergie since October - really feel he has disappointed this season with his decisions. Yes we're competing with City at the moment, but if things continue we'll be seeing Spurs and City far off in the distance and keeping an eye out for Chelsea and Arsenal.

Berbatov off for Welbeck.

Can we try and at least win one second ball tonight, everytime the ball is in the air and drops to the ground, it's their player taking the ball.
