They cant sign him on a pre-contract till the end of May.
They can tap him up/ have a verbal agreement, but cant sign a precontract.

FAIL

So the guy who wrote this reckons our option is 'unenforceable', wonder where he got that from.

What's going on?

Can't we give his dad a job as a groundsman or buy him a house or do something to get him sign the bloody contract...

I hate to use twitter as a source once again, but Ravel's mate who seems to know most of our players, said yesterday that both Morrison and Pogba want to stay at united. I'm taking that to be true and therefore am pretty confident they will stay. Particularly Pogba.

I'm so eager to see Pogba play a PL game. It's frustrating, because we know how good he is. Imagine how he feels. Same goes for Morrison.

So close, yet so far. I'd be absolutely gutted if we sold them both.

Hopefully Pogba stays but if greed did get the better of him in the end then there are other great young players out there that we could replace him with like Barkley who would cost a lot of money though. Fingers corseed Pogba sticks around though. So far Fergie seems certain that he has had enough of Ravel though. Maybe he is just teaching him a lesson. Lets see!

I can't see Pogba being on the bench on saturday if he'd signed a pre-contract elsewhere.

It is similar to the berba situation. Yes their deals are up at end of the season, but we have the first option to extend it by a further year, so I dont think he can sign a pre-contract abroad/Engerrrland at all.

So if we have the option I'm sure we will take it up. For one, it would at least increase his transfer value and gives us a chance to convince him that his future lies here.

This whole thing is pissing me off. I've been rabbiting on about these two to anyone who will listen for the last few years, but the amount of shite that has been spouted about two youngsters has been crazy. The press, the agents, the youngsters themselves....it makes you a bit sick and tired of football sometimes.

I've only seen him in the Carling Cup - and for me he doesn't look ready.

These players need to give their head a shake. Does he really think he's got a better chance of getting a game at another club?

If he wants to leave then let him -and Morrison. If they leave United they'll do feck all.

Fact is, nobodyshould be bigger than the club in terms of attitude or demands.

My thoughts is that Pogba will probably stay and Morrison will be off.

Pogba just needs to be a little patient, he's close to being in the first team and getting more games. Morrison however seems to be going backwards.

Depends on what you consider backwards - if you only look at what is happening on the pitch, I don't agree with you. What he did in the FA Youth Cup last spring was sensational

I have to contradict myself regarding this because you more I think about it I can't see the club letting a local talent of his calibre to walk away because of principle's regarding our wage structure. Make's no sense and it will give the club to much negative publicity.

In the end the club will make sure he signs a new contract, probably with a possibility to renegotiate his economical terms when he starts to play more regular, who benefits both parties.

Would a loan to say Norwich or even a club like Reading (examples only) not be beneficial for Pogba so he can regularly at a higher level considering his chances at United this season are severely limited?

he just missed a big chance vs Derby..Derby 1-0 academy level

Eh?

United's side:
Jacob. Love. Blackett. Ioannou. McCullough. Ekangamene. Daehli. Hendrie. Van Velzen. Januzaj. Barmby.

Subs: Byrne. Sutherland. Wilson. Rowley. Weir

I'm curious how you've come to that conclusion?

Nick Barmby's lad?

Yup. Probably, along with Dæhli, the best of the lot two. Scored both goals in a 2-1 win today, one really well taken, one perfectly placed penalty kick.

One of the few lads with genuine end product in that youth side. Very talented lad.
