Playing with such good players everyday must give him an appetite for the club.

Feel free to name and shame...

Anyone been on the caf long enough to remember Neil Thomson? Watched the reserves a lot, knew his stuff... was convinced Mads Timm was going to make it for us.

And Djordic was getting all kinds of attention when he played in a few first team friendlies (and scored vs Celtic, that lob).... David Jones was really highly rated at the same time. Even Floribert Ngalula (butchered sp?) had a high reputation around then.

N'Galula got injured

Ryan Giggs And Paul Scholes Of Manchester United In Action

MONSTER! All this first team training has to be good for the lad. Hope he stays.

Every time I see a picture of him now, all I can think of is this quote from Hectic...

Ah, Pogba, the retarded dinosaur.

I don't know man, I'm 99% sure it's not him anyway so just ignore that.

Yeah, it's fake.

Be dubious of accounts claiming to be players but have a profile picture that has been taken from Google, and then there's this tweet too:

Paul Pogba @Paul_Pogba93 1h
if i get to 1000 followers by today i will tell you all some big news #mufc

Sounds legit.

Plus the French is not that great.

Just wish the lanky oaf would sign up and put this caf out of their misery. If nto then do one fast and lets get an equally talented and less bagage Barkley.

Are you for real? First you're saying to get rid of Morrison fast and now this. Wind your neck in instead of coming out with this crap.

By the way, Pogba dominated Barkley last time they came up against eachother in the Reserves. Not that I'm saying Barkley isn't talented!

Pogba's 'adviser' Raiola was on 5Live last night outing Balotelli around - said that the original plan when Mario joined City was for him to be there 3 or 4 years but now they're reconsidering because he keeps getting suspended.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we don't need that prick anywhere near Pogba 'planning' his career for him,

he is getting wrong advice, I hope he stays. i certainly don't want us to sell him to our rival.

Sorry not been following this...

Couple of questions, is this about money or lack of first team games.

And finally, has SAF confirmed that his contract is up this year, i've heard his contract expires in 2013?

This guy is a class apart, we've got to keep him. He can pass, he's got fantastic creativity, he's a physical presence, he can tackle, and his shot packs a punch to say the least.

I think it's mainly money, but playing time is probably a factor too. Fergie said a while ago that we have an 1-year extension option, so there's no rush from United's point of view.

Given the fact that Pogba has been a part of the first team squad for quite a few games now and given the fact that he still plays a lot for the reserves I don't think that he'll leave. He seems quite happy here, so I personally think that it's just the agent (and the advisers he's teaming up with) that are being pricks to get more money.

Look I know its not ideal but for a club who repeatedly emphasizes developing talent over buying established no value in the market talent then to let Pogba go would be a huge embarrassment and will belittle the clubs ethos. If Pogba is indeed a rare talent which many think he is then the club should make their best effort to get him to stay!

He'll stay, the 1-year option is there as SAF said. The bone of contention seems to be that if we activate that we take his contract beyond 3 years and you can only offer youth players 3 year deals apparently. Pogba signed his deal in March 2010 and I anticipate it started from June of that year, so activating the clause would only take into the 3rd year not beyond.

Yep, because Chewsea have SUCH a great record at developing and using youth products......feel free to be the next Obi Mikel if you like rather than the next Patrick Viera......your choice

Not really any worse than us at that over the last few years, are they? Sturridge and Mikel have got playing time, McEachran is on the fringes of the first team, they gave Mancienne a run but he wasn't good enough.

Yes they are.

Giggs, Scholes, Cleverley, Welbeck, Fletcher, Evans and the twins are all established first-team regulars having joined the club at Pogba's age or younger. O'Shea, Gibson and Brown would have been added to that list this time last season.

Jones and Smalling have also been fast-tracked into first team football having joined at an only slightly older age.

Who are their equivalents at Chelsea?

John Terry and...

This place has gone mad, The tiresome moaning against the Club and the midfield issues aside some are even saying that our record in developing young players is not better than Chelsea in the last few years.

If you are counting Mikel and Sturridge, then we have Anderson, Nani, Jones, Smalling, Twin, Twin
And players through the ranks on the fringes? We've done one better and have established first team players as well (Evans, Clev, Welbeck) not to mention the older players

A possible contender for dumbest post of the year so far. Cleverley, Welbeck and Evans have been Manchester United players since there were an average of 11 years old. All now start for the club when fit, and most likely will do for the next decade. Sturridge and Mikel were both nicked from other clubs, both due to their own personal greed, in their late teens, and Mikel's on his way out anyway.
