Bit of a difficult one to see how seriously Fergie will take this. If we have Smalling, Jones, Cleverley, and Nani fit I think they should all start to get some fitness back. Young starting to get more minutes would also be good. Amos, Fábio, Fryers, and Pogba all in will be nice if possible. Berbatov obviously needs a game, while Hernández could start, but maybe we'll see Park start as this is the away leg.

Running off the idea that Ferdinand, Evra, Scholes, Giggs, Carrick, Valencia, and probably Rooney will be left out entirely. Along with de Gea, Evans, and Welbeck on the bench. Could be a lot different in the end - don't think Anderson or Owen would be back for this, but if they are then put them in the squad by all means.

If we're really just not serious about these two games at all, then we might as well use them to build fitness for our players returning and give our youngsters some minutes.

I like this team, but I would continue playing De Gea to increase his confidence and that defence seems a little shaky, so I'd play Evans as well and Jones at the right back.

Pogba and Cleverley needs to play so they can get to know their future midfield partner Christian Eriksen, totally.

Jones Cleverley
Nani -- Berbatov -- Young

Pog should be on the bench.
Clev very likely to start. Hopefully with Jones or Andow in the middle.
But then we dont have a game at the weekend so no real need to rest players.

Perfect. Thurday is the only night that I'm not having to spend at work doing overtime.

Ah feck, it really means that we're out because of me, doesnt it? :(

If Jones is fit I would love to see a midfield 3 of Cleverley - Jones - Pogba, hopefully some other youngsters on the bench as well, like Cole, Keane, Petrucci, etc.

Really couldnt care less about the result but it would be nice to win.

Sounds good to me.

not sure how we should approach this competition to be honest, could easily disrupted our attention towards retaining our league tittle.

anyway,

---------------------------de gea-------------------------------

rafael-----------smalling--------------evans--------------fabio

nani-----------cleverley-------------carrick-------------young

---------------berbatov-------------hernandez---------------

second half appearances for jones and ando should they are fit, and pogba as well perhaps.

lets go full strength lineup this week with a few kids like Pogba and fryers and then kids line up next week so we can demolish norwich.

How many hours from now is 6 PM in your area? Wondering what time this will be in Singapore.

-----------------De Gea-----------------
Rafael----Smalling-------Rio---------Fabio
Nani------Cleverley-----Pogba------Young
----------Berbatov-----Chicharito--------

Subs: Amos, Evans, Jones, Carrick, Park, Welbeck, Rooney.

The CL games here are at 1:15. Go to sleep around 4-4:30. I quite like it.

The next two games are against Ajax. Concentrate on that

UEFA Super Cup against Barcelona/Real Madrid/Bayern Munich here we come!

We want to try and win this - I don't want to see too many players out of match fitness because we'll get dicked like we did in the CL group stage by rotating too much. Surely the whole point is to go as far as possible in the comp to give Pogba etc the chance to get experience. I'd like to see 7 first teamers plus 4 extras each Europa cup game, with a little rotation to rest first teamers, but not enough so the incomers have to play in one of those horrible makeshift XIs that capitulated vs Palace

Team should be...

GK: De Gea

RB: Rafael
CB: Smalling
CB: Evans
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Carrick
CM: Cleverley
LM: Park

CF: Berbatov
CF: Hernandez

Subs: Amos, Fabio, Pogba, Scholes, Giggs, Rooney, Welbeck

Truth is predicting a team for this is nigh on impossible as I have no idea how seriously we're taking this competition
