Norwich City vs. Manchester United

Norwich were really pushing for a goal. we need the safety of a second goal and possibly a third goal. They are pumping the ball into the box - a known weakness for us.

Jesus lads, who set him up, was it a great ball in, well directed header?

Ball laid back to Nani at the edge of the box on the right, he played in a lovely teasing, curling ball between the keeper and the defenders and reached Scholes on the six yard line leaving him a tap in with his head, as the keeper was closer to the near post.

He may have kept us in the lead but it's ambitious to say he's kept us "in it". One great save and some good hands to catch a flick on is hardly under siege.

People get drawn into the commentary too much. Stan Collymore claims that this Norwich side deserve to be 5-1 up and suddenly everything's disastrous. Yeah, we need to pick up the tempo again but we started really, really well and have done what we set out to do in the first half I imagine - get our noses in front and then stay tight.

Welbeck will exploit more space as the game progresses, he's dropping deep really well. I'd like to see more of Giggs though.

two excellent chances that could easily have been put away.

Their midfield worked their socks off.

credit to them and DDG.

Wellbeck has been superb.

Indeed. 2-1 down isn't "out of it".

Credit to Ruddy for keeping them in it when he saved Welbeck's shot that would have made it 2-0?

Hoolahoop handballs it and then gets fouled and Evans gets booked. But, Stan didn't see that it seems...

Wierd sometimes Hernandez has the best touch ever and sometimes the worst in the same match.

feck me, who do we have on the bench today?

saha doesnt come out for 2nd half for spuds?

Injured again it would seem
