I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Graham Taylor.
He was dozing. He let Llorente get space and watched as the ball flew over his head straight to the player he was marking. It was a brilliant finish, but Rio should have been awake and closer to him to prevent him from taking the shot.

That volley should be shown to kids over and over again. Eyes on the ball, body shape perfect and head in position. Executed perfectly.
Bilbao do want it more than us. That much is clear, they had players rested on the weekend and others who did not play as full pelt (understandably because they were knackered the week before). We can't afford to do that in the league.
I don't know, I wouldn't take anything away from the pass or the goal but Rio lost him too easily and allowed him the space he needed.
Chelsea were clearly more motivated though.
