The "smaller" side is always a bit more up for it. What if this was a CL match?

We have one of the biggest squads in Europe and despite all the injuries this is a very strong team playing out there right now. We want to win it.
 
Bilbao looking slower to come out of their defence now, could be a bit of fatigue we can start to take advantage of.
 
This game reminds me of the 4-3 classic against Real Madrid in the CL few years ago.. We were playing catchup, and needed to score many goals, but what killed us was the goals we conceded in the second leg.

Get a grip people! Bilbao are a decent side and United are having a poor Euro campaign by our usually very high standards. We will be back and this match isn't over yet.

I didn't criticise anyone. Quite the opposite.

What I meant was, we're rebuilding our team. We're in the process of another set of players establishing themselves. Its always going to show the most in European football first

lots of Possession but we are not even troubling their defense or keeper..
 
we go backwards, sideways and long ball to the wings so many times it's painful.

everything we're doing seems labored today...while Bilboa attack with fluidity and pace and press like crazy.

Can't see how we win this game...

You do have a tendacy to massively overstate things.

This is a match discussion thread, if a player is fouled and nothing is given what exactly do you expect to read?
 
Peculiar shape for an away leg of a European type, still if we had played like this at Old Trafford we wouldn't be in so much trouble, moved the ball pretty well today. Not dealt with their movement well enough over the two leg mind.
 
To be honest I don't think we are playing that bad, just that they are playing very well
A very noisy home crowd is helping them ,just they way it used to help us at home in Europe.
Forgetting the score I am enjoying watching the game
