Rooney, Welbeck

Bench: Amos, Rio, Fabio, Giggs, Young, Chicha, Berba

Going out on a limb here but probably because Fergie thought we'd do better playing with three central midfielders than we would with three strikers?

That doesn't mean anything, since we know that Welbeck can play almost in every position in attack.

are you for real , you want this team to pay at Wolves , OK they may be bottom of the PL , but this team would be wrong

nobodody gets my sarcasm. :(

For some reason I thought this was at home. In any case it's a big contender for being a

We had a depleted squad against Blackburn. A lot of injuries.
We really should win this comfortably.
There can always be upsets and surprise results, doesnt mean we arent favorites and would expect a win.

We never have easy matches against Wolves. They have always been around 17th-20th when we played them but still they get results against us at home.

One year ago they got outplayed at home to Liverpool 0-3 and then Bolton 0-1, before beating us 2-1 in their game of the season. They are always up for the United game and always will be.

So we're playing again against Wolverhampton after we're going out of a european competition.

Maybe I am daft, but we are taking resting and rotating players too seriously. We don't know who is our first choice striker, who is our first choice winger pair, who is our first choice midfield pairing, who is our first choice RB. I don't know what would happen if we are still in champions league and in fa cup. I know injuries are to blame, but even without them we are resting and rotating too much. I can bet one of Hernandez-Welbeck won't play for the weekend, eventough they were rested last night.
It's time to stop rotating and play our strongest team every week.
What if Rooney is injured?

Some words to the team-selection
- Fabio for Evra no doubt about that after Evra's poor performances in the last weeks!!!!!
- Valencia is hopefully fit enough to start because i don't want to see Park in the team again.

Why would we play him against bilbao in the first place then?

Rooney doubt for Manchester United trip to Wolves

Manchester United are sweating on the fitness of Wayne Rooney ahead of their Premier League clash with Wolves at Molineux.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping his star striker recovers from the knock he suffered during last night’s Europa League defeat in Spain.

Rooney lay prone after a challenge by Jon Aurtenetxe in the second half of the 2-1 loss to Athletic Club of Bilbao.

However, he was able to finish the match and score his 27th goal of the season.

Paul Scholes is set to return in midfield and Phil Jones is hoping to have recovered from flu.

Victory at Molineux would take United four points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Jones Evans Rio Evra
Valencia Carrick Scholes Young
Rooney Welbeck

If Rio is injured (heard he was during the game yesterday) then put smalling in there. If jones isn't fit than put Rafael or Fabio in right back. When is Nani supposed to be back as well?
Anyways, I think it will be a pretty comfortably win for us, 3-0, Rooney, Valencia and Welbeck to score the goals.

This will be a nervy single goal win - 2-1 I think

Sqeaky bum time after all

Oh ffs, Rooney better be fit. Why did we risk him?

Maybe we should just wrap him in cotton wool until the Derby game?

He wants to play, the more he plays the better he gets, like virtually all footballers.

He can just as easily get injured against Wolves or in training, wasn't it a training ground knock that kept Nani out mid week?

De Gea

Smalling Rio Evans Evra

Valencia Carrick Scholes Nani

Welbeck Rooney

Young in if one of the wingers are still injured.

Do people even remember the lineup for the Blackburn game?
Going forward wasnt the main problem.

This is one of those matches that we always win. But scrappily. Come from behind win to exert a world of pressure on City who'll get only a draw.

I, however, think we'll win this easy 3-0 or 3-1. Wolves are atrocious.

Guess Jones won't make it in time, can see Evra being drop onto the bench. It will probably be this team with Valencia coming on in the second half. We should do enough to win surely

Smalling--Rio--Evans--Fabio

Carrick--Scholes

Potentially, we can do our goal difference a world of good in this game. I hope we don't score and then arse around for the rest of the game like we've done at times this season. Let's see how City cope with a 4 point gap to close.

I really wouldn't mind seeing Fabio given a chance on the left (if his legs are currently available).

if rooney is in fact injured I wouldnt mind Berbarito but not park in midfield please.
