Hernandez won't be on the wing, we would've just played Welbeck if we wanted one of our forwards to play there.

Scholes and Carrick will hold most likely and Jones will be given listen to break into the box.
 
Hernandez up front alone seems weird to me. Of all our 4 strikers I'd think he's the one that's worst for that role.


Not that I know better than the manager. He's made us look like idiots before for questioning his team selection, hopefully that will be the case today.
 
The only real surprise in that lineup is Hernandez instead of Welbeck or Young
A 3 man midfield was expected.
 
Would have preferred Cleverley and Welbeck over Jones and Welbeck.

strange lineup - why not play young left and rooney middle?

I think we've picked a team to control the game, be solid and to defend set pieces well

think hernandez could do well on the break but not sure about rooney left - he's never really had a top game playing there

I don't like the lineup, we don't need these changes in the most important part of the season.

Really nervous about this. Not left my mind all day, even dreamed about it earlier! Win today and we have a massive advantage, both in the table and psychologically. Lose/Draw and City are right back in it.

Think Neville has added so much to Sky Sports. Hes like that fan you listen to in the pub who knows all or makes a lot of sense at the time.

He balances that out quite nicely by getting a straight red for England and missing most of the EUROs...
 
Sounds like Jones is in the team ahead of Cleverley and like to provide some defensive nous when Blackburn have set pieces
