Wigan Athletic vs Manchester United

You need to say it louder Sean, they can't hear you.

de Gea

Jones
Ferdinand
Evans
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Giggs
Young

Rooney
Hernandez

SUBS: Amos, Smalling, Pogba, Cleverley, Park, Nani, Welbeck.

Good line up. Would have stuck with Rafael though personally.

Would like to of seen Rafael stay in the side, but good team regardless.

Could someone post the bench up ASAP as i'm getting off the train in a min :)

Edit: Nice one the two above.

No Rafael, hopefully just rested rather than injured. Glad to see Nani back in the squad too

Surprised about Rio starting and Rafa dropping out. Other than that it's as expected.

Hernandez hat trick.

It's interesting for this game and the last, we've only had 1 defender on the bench.

I say this every game but more so with this one hopefully we get a few goals early so we can rest carrick and Rooney.

Have we ever had a match day thread, in the history of the caf, that hasn't had people posting stuff like "I can see us losing this one", "we're gonna draw this, I can feel it" etc?

No We're only Manchester United. It's Wigan FFS we have no chance!

Nothing wrong with being realistic once in a while.

This side will not play pretty football, that's for sure. There's no real magic, besides Rooney and occasionally Giggs. We need Scholes, Welbeck and Nani on song to play nicely.

There's a lot of grit though, and maybe that is what matters in this games.
