Of course it'll come down to money, he's not from Manchester so if he's offered more money to play for a club of similar stature why wouldn't he go?
What "agreement with Juve"?
FFS some people on here think they are actually more ITK than SAF!
ps if he goes it's his loss he won't get anywhere near as good a development outside of United.
If you're a black footballer, you wouldn't want to play in Italy. I'm fairly sure Juve supporters have been punished for racism themselves recently.
Money has the power to make some black players forget about the racism issues in certain countries (see Samba or Eto'o playing in Russia).
Don't think they've forgotten about it, not sure in the case of Eto'o but Samba wasn't too pleased when he got a banana thrown at him.
Him being not pleased means nothing, I mean it's like we were shocked that it happened because racism in football is still a big issue in Russia.Black players who play there shouldn't be surprised by it, Samba's anger was normal and predictable.
Samba was a good defender, I'm sure he could have played anywhere else in Europe, in a country where racism isn't much of a problem like in Russia.I shouldn't have used the word "forgotten" but I meant that if the wages they're given are big enough, they can take all the bananas and insults thrown at them
If the wages were big enough in any other industry would it make being racially abused acceptable? Flawed logic

Reports surfaced last month that the 19-year-old had finally agreed a deal to stay in Manchester following weeks of uncertainty over his future amid heavy speculation linking him to Juve.
However his agent, Mino Raiola, says the Frenchman is still weighing up United's contract offer against a potential move to Italy.
Raiola claims Pogba, who has made seven appearances as a substitute for the Red Devils this season, is yet to make up his mind.
He told Sky Sport Italia: "He can remain at Manchester United or go to Juventus.
"It's a tough decision to be taken by the boy, thinking of his career. Both possibilities present some chances.
"It's a choice that should be made quietly.
"United count on him and want to extend his contract. His future will depend very much on the will of the boy."
It looks very much to me like he's off to Italy but he won't admit it as it would harm his chances of playing for us in the interim.
This situation continues to confuse me somewhat in terms of the messages we get - for example this evening on MUTV, there was a Q&A feature with Pogba where he said the highlight of his career so far was signing for United because it was a dream, and that his goal in his career was to be a top player for United, and be a legend like Cantona.
Now of course he's going to be complementary on the club's TV channel, but giving those answers to questions that he could've avoided pretty easily seems a little odd given everything. If he's engineering a move away then those answers would make him seem very two-faced.
I'm of the view that the longer this drags on the less likely it is that he'll stay, but that's obviously not based on anything more than a feeling. Either way we'll survive.
Is the issue money or playing time, if its money how can we justify not matching or bettering Juves offer? If you lose a player of that potential in a position of obvious need we either wait for another one to develop or buy another player which will cost as well. He is already in the club so pay the kid ffs and stop messing about, it makes us look small time compared to the rest of the big clubs imo.
Because by that plan an agent can say another team offered him any amount of money and we'd have to match it.
I am sure theres a market value and Fergie isnt stupid is he?

You just said we should match or better Juventes offer.
I responded to that.
Now I don't know what you are talking about.
its common sense, Juve are hardly going to offer anything outlandish for the kid are they. Fergies not stupid. If the agent is quoting Juve are offering say 50 or 60 K a week for him then Fergie isnt going to fall for that. By market value I meant that surely theres a ceiling for what clubs would pay for such a player.
Besides since when have Juve been rolling in the dosh again?

In my opinion we should let him go. It had been dragging now for far too much.
Having said that, I wont be surprised if United are keeping everything tense so that they'll portray it as a big achievement/new signing for them.

"There are not many tall players who can be skillful with their feet but I think that is my strongest point. My highlight was signing for United, it was a dream for me. My aim is to be a regular first team player, to be a top player for Man Utd, be a legend here, try to finish like Cantona, hopefully! I get on with everyone here, this club is very warm, all the team we just laugh together, even the first team players sometimes, I like everyone, they are all my friends. I love big game atmospheres, I love big games, you have to show big (opponents) players who is the best on the pitch so I just wish to be better than them."
Makes me think of Ronaldo for some reason. I stay, I stay
