Manchester United v Aston Villa

There was only contact because Young moved into the defender.

He pulled out, young forced the contact then dived.

I think its horrible. But hey ho, 1-0 and on course for the 3 points!

Agree.

It probably was a penalty but not as clear as you think tbh.

No, it is a penalty and it is as clear as you think tbh, fecksake some of the Young hatred is sickening.

I'm fairly neutral so I'm looking without red specs :D

I'll be glad if Utd take the 3 points and win the league, but you see players get it in the neck on here for cheating and Youngs becoming a serial offender.

Ive never been his biggest fan but that shit just bugs me.

I'm not a Utd fan as such.

And no I'm not a dipper, a gooner, or a chav either.

Young forced the contact, the guy pulled out of the tackle, it was cheating as far as I can see.

Who do you support out of interest? A lousy team you don't care to admit? No shame supporting any team but just saying!

It's a joke, it really is. The media have decided Young can't be fouled in the box without him diving so everyone has decided to believe it, it really is quite sad.

Stop f***ing talking about the dive.. It's not the first time it ever happened, and he's not the only player to do it!

At least it balances things out when other teams do it!

Chelsea didn't give back their phantom goals.. Liverpool didn't chalk off the goals they got through dives.. Why should we?!

1-0.

It was a foul, he sticks out his foot and catches Young... so yes, it's a foul.

However, it's still a dive... because that sort of contact does not make you go down with your legs wide apart from each other... and your back arched and just generally as if someones shot you in the back.

Against his former club as well

Check the replay. He moves his foot towards the defender's foot, then throws his back leg over in a theatrical fall. It's a dive, clear as day.

Can't call it a dive because there is contact but yes he threw his leg in to get the foul.

And Is Ireland a United fan?

Yep, dont get me wrong it was a tad on the dramatic side which was not necessary but it was a clear penalty none the less.
