Manchester United vs. Swansea City

Started off poorly. Can finally see the players trying their hardest to put on a show. The least you could expect :)

Get nani on for jones, move Valencia to right back and we'll get more goals I think

Really pleased to see us going for it. Least we can do in this situation is provide performances to be proud of.

Great half. Get Rooney off though. He's not into it. Hernandez should've had a penalty of course. Young, Scholes, Carrick and Evra have been terrific.

One question I have. Why the feck have we never been able to display half the urgency and pressure in previous home matches against similar teams ? Why wait for the last home game and when a miracle is needed ?
If the same envy was displayed against Everton, against Wigan, against QPR, the title would have been sealed by now.

we should be 4 nil up by now

yeah. Hernandez should have gotten at least 1, and a header from Smalling or better passing from the wings from Jones to find a man would have easily gotten us to 4.

Young's crosses are like dark chocolate covered in white chocolate. At first you see the white chocolate and get excited but then you bite into it and the disappointment fills your soul.

We've worn down Swansea with constant pressure and deserve the lead. Hopefully we'll continue to press and look for goals. Decent performance, Young is really dangerous and Rooney is only missing a goal.

Move Valencia to right back and put Nani on, may as well have a real go.

If only we chased every game like this. So often this year we've gone ahead and gone to sleep if we had only put everyone we faced under this kinda pressure...

PS) Ref do you know what a penalty is?

I don't mean to be Captain obvious like but how fecking annoying is that 1-6 looking now? If we'd actually done a damage limitation job, a 3 goal swing in our favour right about now.

I love it when we play with urgency. That relentless attacking attitude is exactly what we needed in key games this season. There are some very positive performances out there so far and I hope we increase it further.

Just keep trying to score and be more clinical. That's all I ask.

Same thing, why oh why did we do that

I agree with this, it's worth it already. Jones has been disappointing with his crosses, he just seems to fire them in aimlessly. I don't know why Rafael didn't start. I can't fault Jones too much, but going forward he's just seemingly not going to cut it when we need to keep scoring.

Surprised by how retarded the match day thread is today. It seems like the same posters who have been saying there's no point thinking about goal difference are also the ones moaning that we haven't scored with every shot.

This is probably the best we've played in a good while.

That was way back, nobody thought about goal difference at that moment, I liked that we tried to rescue that game from an impossible situation.

I'm more annoyed that we did not destroy QPR, playing against 10 men for an eternity.

Its too forced how where playing and we need to produce better crosses from these great opening we've created.

Ah yeah that too, especially after seeing them fold against Chelsea. if if if if.

I've just always thought it to be a pointless exercise. Not gonna speed the game up.

Well actually, running back to get started rather than spending 3 minutes celebrating will do exactly that.

Hernandez has been poor yet again. I rather Berbatov get a deserved final game at OT.

you can say that again and again. it's been shameful in that respect. I'm happy we're ahead but feel numb. If only if only. Oh well you cant win all the time
