Eden Hazard | "I am signing for Chelsea"

Even better. Either a clearout of players who just won the league, lots and lots of players fighting for a chance to play once every few weeks, or Hazard won't go to City.

Seriously guys. Let hazard go. He's chosen them over us. If we get kagawa we've got plenty to be excited about and will have more cash to spend elsewhere. Hazard is a wonderful footballer but clearly also a bit of a cock.

How do you know he has chosen them?

It isn't only about choosing them...
It is about only City being able to afford him..

At the end of the day if its City vs us, only City will win out when it comes to the transfer fees, and if City can match what Lille is asking, then only THEY will have permission to talk to Hazard and not us.

Didn't help them with Sanchez last year. They were the favoured bidder, but he still went to Barca for less money.

He's obviously not coming to us.

What few comments he has made seem like bait to scare City into throwing more money at him, although it's not like he needs to, he's going to be on an enormous wage over there either way.

We don't get into bidding wars like this because we're based in reality.

Ha ha. feck knows. Moura's been talking to inter. As for united, all I know is that both city and ourselves have been talking to two of mendes's clients. Matey won't tell me who though. I'd guess at Rodriguez but after that I'm stumped. Can't see Porto selling him if hulk goes to Chelsea.

We're getting Ronaldo!!!

When did Hazard confirm he is coming to play in Manchester for sure next season? Or is media bullshit again?

agree with this.

"I have made my choice 90 per cent. There are always small things that can change everything. You will soon know where my future lies.

"City have won the title this year, and they have great players, a great coach and a nice project.

"At United, we all know [Sir Alex] Ferguson and all the talented players he has in his squad."
Sounds a bit warmer to City. We are still signing him.

If that's a genuine quote then it's pretty much settled. Citybound - shame and I get the feeling that whilst he won't be a flop there, he may not match expectation either.

It's from Goal.com so there is a chance it's made up, they claim it's from La Parisien. We're still signing him.

Where do those quotes come from? He really seems to love all the attention he's getting atm. Sounds like he'll join city.

Don't get why people keep saying this. Of he's asked by reporters here's he going and he's negotiating between the 2 clubs then whats he said thats out of the ordinary?

All about him him him, he's a total media whore compared to CR7 and even Lebron James. I've decided we should not sign him

He sounds like a total ASW. I dislike him already, therefore he must be City-bound.

Goal.com are using the quotes posted above and claim that City are offering him 100k a week only! If City are starting to sign players of that quality for that money then we are going to be in trouble.

Some funny reactions in this thread  "he's a media whore" "he can feck off" all of that because he hasn't clearly express his will to wanna join United.
A lot of unhealthily frustrated and angry people in here

Well, you shouldn't worry too much about that, unless Hazard is happy to earn 100k/week less than everyone else at the club.

That's a strange post. Why would i want him to clearly express his will to join United? If he wants to come here, he will. He may be good and i have never seen him play even once, but he doesn't seem to have the right character to play for this club

It appears he has accepted Shitty's offer and we are refusing to match it so it doesn't take rocket scientist to work out that he is a money whore and will be joining them.

Does that contradict what Gill said the other day that we can compete in both transfer fees and salaries?

And you know this because of 2 interviews and tweets? You're a psychology genius then

If he has accepted City's offer, then whats the hold up?

The list of players we're missing out of because of teams with "new wealth" is getting quite frightening:

Robben
Essien
Toure
Silva
Hazard??

Any others?

Might be wrong but didn't we have the chance to sign him before City came along but didn't bother?

Technically we had the chance to sign every one of those players before they ended up at their current club but didn't bother. In fact you could say the same about every single player who ever changed club in the history of football.

No no no Pogue, when we miss out on a player its the Glazers fault.

It's from Goal.com, the guy tomwfootball who revealed those 90% quote first didn't mention these quotes.

How does that 'appear' to the case?
