This will go on and on! Wish the cnut would just make his mind up.
He's playing this like he's fecking Messi. He hasn't achieved anything in the game.
A question for those who watch him regularly; Is he better than Nani, Valencia, and Young ?
Playing or acting like Messi?
Acting. I meant the way he's handled the entire situation, keeping in mind he's not achieved anything yet. Was there really any need to give an interview after the game? I don't have a problem with him taking his time, its an important decision, but why talk to the press when you have nothing to say? Would be far better off just keeping his mouth shut until he's made a decision.
It's impossible to tell with absolute certainty since he's been playing in France. He's not a modern type playmaker/winger who thrives with freedom.
Actually I'd say without a doubt he's better than Young, the other two I'm not so sure.
I can also say with certainty that he's a better (ground) than all three of them.He has a very good vision for through passes.Very creative player

Face it guys we are not signing him. The overall package with wages and transfer fee is a ball park we are not playing in anymore. We are the kids kickin a can around to City's and Chelsea's new fresh leather casey. I am not bitter about this, i would never have us sell our souls to oil riches. Just come to accept it. Utd should get other targets signed up whilst the other's wait for this guys answer.
Can we have a thread that remains locked but is only updated when there is concrete news?
I find it hard to read through the constant "He is coming" or "Face it he wont be coming" posts

This.
I find it strange that this thread is generating so much interest when the chance of him choose us seem to be virtually nil.
Everyone is just fawning over someone who will be playing for one of our rivals next season. Why put yourselves through it?
He reminds me of a quicker - trickier nasri
I find it strange that you dismiss our chances of signing him so quickly when he has already confirmed that we have made him a great offer and are a great club, that also suggests that we have met Lilles valuation of him. Why would we even be trying to sign him if we thought we couldn't afford it. Stop getting caught up with all that Glazernomics hype. We beat City to Berbatov, a £30m signing and can surely offer more playing time than them with their overload in his position.
Why do people want us to sign this guy?
Could you imagine him in a few seasons, playing hardball to get a bigger contract?
As good as he is, I do not see him fitting in with the squad.
Plus I do not see how he is what we need at all.

I can also imagine him deciding that Uniteds where he wants to spend the rest of his career as he wins his 5th balon d'or and signs a contract wherehe gives money to United just for the privilege of playing for us, aftr a season where he scored 120 goalsand made twice as many assists. Imagination is great.

We're confirmed in for him, confirmed to have made an offer thats acceptable and he just now has to chose which offer he wants yet apparently we can't compete, it's fecking bizarre.
I know it is. But going by what has happened these last few days, the way he has acted and spoken. I just do not think he is right for the club.

Whats he actually said, whats he actually done. Everyone is acting as if this is some masterminded trolling by him when in fact he played the last game for his club, got lots of huge offers in and has to make the most important decison of his career. He's not said much and everybody is dissecting his every word looking for hidden meanings. The majority of all this stuff has come from twitter and it's everyone else who's decided it means this or that.
Wow, it was so much more fun in here last night, shit just got serious![]()
Exactly. With The obvious exits this summer there is room on the wage budget and we obviously need investments. £30m on Hazard, £10m on Kagawa and around £15m on Asamoah and that is the same £55m we invested last season and it gives us a huge amount of options and great strength.
Add Clyne for a few million and low wages and that's us sorted. Really not that unbelievable.
Edit - for the sceptics the outs:
Berbatov £10m and £100k+ a week.
Park £4m and £50k a week, probably more.
Macheda £7m and £20kish.
That's around £20m back and £170k a week released from the yearly wage. Hazard on £150k, Kagawa on £70k and Asamoah on £50k is an increase of only £100k per week, manageable.
Hold on a second. Can't really be arsed wading through the last 20 or 30 pages of SNAFU in this thread but didn't he only mention "Manchester"? Are we certain he's talking about United?
It was later confirmed by Lille that both United and City have been negotiating for him and later Chelsea. The fact Hazard has confirmed contract offers suggests a fee has been agreed in principle or at least isn't far off.

Lille managing director Frederic Paquet has told Sky Sports that 'four teams' are challenging for Eden Hazard's signature.
The French season ended on Sunday with Hazard claiming a hat-trick in a 4-1 success over Nancy in what looks certain to have been his farewell appearance.
Both Manchester City and United are in the running for his signature, whilst European champions Chelsea have also emerged as contenders in recent days.
Paquet now says another club are also in the mix for Hazard but it is the player and not Lille who will decide.
"I am not sure he knows [who he will sign for] himself where he will go, so for the moment, we don't know," he told Sky Sports NewsHD.
"From my knowledge he has four teams interested in buying him.
"It is not up to us to tell to him [where to go].
"We have a very strong relationship with the player, we will work together and are waiting for him to make a choice between these four teams."
Owen,PIG as well.
