Has it been announced? If it's the blue gingham, I'm still not very impressed.

It's a rather nice white kit - quite classy and understated, there's some images in the United forum. All (any?) of our new signings should pose with that one, otherwise the photos will be ruined.

That photo is the first I've seen of it. Don't you think the blue is more likely considering its been posted for a number of months now?

Decorativeed has vouched for its authenticity - he's knows his stuff.

The Russian gangster buoyed on by recent CL success, will put in place a big name manager and Hazard will be his first big signing.

Out of the three, Chelsea need him more.

Hazard wants the cash and Chelsea will provide.

That said, there have been some hilarious posts in this thread.

Just a few years back to think that United City and Chelsea would be interested in signing the same player but that the player would join City or Chelsea would be a fecking joke.

How football has changed.
I know, and it's fecking sad, but money talks.

If we splashed the cash and bought more fancy foreign players, we'd have no problem luring big names.

So my mates saying done deal at City. Will be announced next few days, hope he's wrong but he rarely is in these sort of situations.

Just spoke to my mate, he says its a done deal at Chelsea, he is never ever wrong in these situations.

Yea I agree, the thing is money always talked its just that we rightfully could spend money because of our income, one of the best clubs in the history of football, full stadium merchandise fans etc..

But here we are in debt with small clubs like City and Chelsea muscling us out of buying players SAF wants

feck that.

Problem is, I have another mate, who has a mate, who says it's a done deal with Arsenal, and he's never wrong in these sorts of situations.

Just doesn't sit right does it.

I know his stats are impressive this year, but is he THAT good? I mean, this time last year we all thought he'd be another random French youngster brought to Arsenal, and no one was that upset about it.

Just seems that his reputation has risen significantly more based on him being the biggest transfer target, rather than necessarily his world class ability.

 People thought France would invade Belgium and therefore assimilate Hazard as French?

I think part of the attraction is that he's got that experience in the Champions League and players from France tend to cope pretty well in the premier league, like Dembele for example. If the rumours are true, then between 30-35m is not bad compared with 50-60m that is touted for Neymar who is unproven except in Brazil.

There's been some massive hype around Hazard for a long time now; the Caf didn't pick up on it last summer because everyone was muppeting about Sneijder and Sánchez.

I hope that if we do want to sign him, then he's at most third on the list of priorities. But I don't think we have to worry about getting him.

It's got little to do with debt.

Our current interest payments are about £35M per year. If we were owned by complete altruists who took no dividends, and we paid the entire £35M in wages, we still couldn't pay Nasri £170k or Adebayor £200k +.

Even if we devoted all our revenue to wages and transfers, City's owners can simply pump another £50M per year into the club and raise wages by £2M/£3M per year. They have no limits - we do if we want to remain solvent.

If the FFP is worth anything it should equal the score somewhat. Although I fear it's going to be useless.

Kompany will inevitably have a little word with him. Hope it doesn't sway his decision.

These transfer sagas bore me, this and the Kagawa one.

Why can't they just be done and bloody dusted?

Why can't women just say what they mean rather than dancing around it all the time? It's one of life's great mysteries. "Only God knows."

Why not just assume he's going to City or Chelsea - on the balance of likelihood given wages / club debts etc

Then if he did come to us its a pleasant surprise
