I've always thought he would choose Chelsea, since he wants more money and chances to play, which is understandable.

Skybet odds are moving.. I don't follow that stuff.. But a mate of mine just told me that there was quite a big shift just now in United's favor.. Anybody watching?

Ignore SkyBet.

No genuine gambler follows there transfer markets, as such the odds moving mean feck all.

Where has SSN got this thing from that he'll announce it later this afternoon?

who knows? but ssn always do this to get people watching. They've become scummy down the years

So Saha has said he's off to Chelsea? Surprised he's gone there to be honest given what's going on at the club.

I must say I'm not surprised it isn't United though. As if we'd let him announce it on Twitter at 4.

A pretty reliable journalist said there will be an announcement. But "reliable journalist" is a bit of an oxymoron.

As big as they get, I haven't read into this London stuff one but. I am just as sure/insecure as I was 5 days ago.

Betting was suspended but now the odds are back up with Chelsea at 1/3 for Chelsea and 5/2 for United.

Simple - they want us to watch, they want us to bet. I for one am doing neither; instead, I'm sobbing into my Sneijder duvet...

:D

I'm sticking to my 'I havent seen him but I dont think he is worthy of all this hype' point.

Great if we get him.. not too disappointed if we dont.
Kagawa on the other hand...

I know there's the obvious answer that he just talking shit, but his quotes about how it's all about playnig a central attacking role etc should all but rule out Chelsea.
Those quotes were about the Belgian national team and were completely pulled out of context.

yeah but that's because chelsea odds improved...means sweet fa

SkyBet is shite. They suspended voting on Sneijder aswell last season aswell as many other players and managers. Basically a few people have placed high stakes and alarm bells went off, and they slash the odds/suspend it to save their money.

That can be due to betting Patterns.

If you watch the horses, people bet on the favourite up to a point when the odds become pointless and the second favourite's odds then look strong for an outside bet.

It wouldn't be surprising if United's odds had become favourable for a punt seeing as all this has come from is Twitter rumours, seasoned betters would realise that it's probably going to be the longest odds you will get on United.

he didn't...

I am now utterly convinced that a) he is signing for Chelsea b) he wanted to come to us but his plan was ruined by evil agents who scuppered his dream c) at this point he became an attention seeking twat who is more trouble than he is worth d) this means we will sign the teenager from Porto who will become our hero before effing off to Spain.

Well "genuine gamblers" must be pretty stupid. If SkyBet's odds do tend to fluctuate compared to the rest of the market, and fail to reflect the real world, then any gambler worth their salt should be keeping a close eye on them!

He should be an idiot with IQ under 24 if he let his agent to ruin his dream.

Too un-reliable to represent any sort of value, and fluctuates every 5 effing minutes.

But i suppose you're right, maybe some can trade off it.

It's not impossible it is still us despite people saying we wouldn't let him announce it like that.

It could be that we don't know who he has chosen ourselves and once he announces it we'll wrap it up and do a formal announcement.

Fergie won't like it thats for sure and it would be hilarious to see it fall through by Fergie pulling out because of the drama he has created proving he's not "a United player".

 If he wants assurances of playing time and position, how does he get them from Chelsea? They don't even have a manager. I guess they just call JT up and ask?

Looks like it's back to Summer transfer muppetry for me again... why do we put ourselves through all this again & have feck all to show for it... Maybe this could be our year tho :)

There he is. The odds of this thread getting locked have just plummeted.

Rooney is a United player tho & look at the shite he pulled on us. We gotta take a hit sometimes with these agents lot, to ensure we get the player we want, otherwise we'll get pissed all over by Chelsea & Shitty!

We wont get him. Unfortunately we cant compete with chelsea and shitty for players

Assurances can be bought.

 I guess Roman has never shied away from telling the manager what to do, who to play, and how to play. I'm sure their next manager will be delighted to have a list of players who must play, where they play, and how much they need to play.

Looking at the Chelsea side currently, they'd be mad not to play him if they got him. Still, you make a fair point about the lack of stability at the club. I doubt he cares though as long as he gets a good wage.
