Shinji Kagawa

Haven't seen him play, but judging by the reports on here and elsewhere he sounds like a cracking player.

Is he a hard worker? On the pitch, I mean.

So nice to have signed him without all the transfer drama.

Another good thing about this is it's very unlikely he will want to leave Utd. We are huge in Japan so Kagawa will be bigger than Beckham. He will make millions in endorsements and we will sell millions of Kagawa shirts.

Even though the new kit is awful this year - the idea of getting one with his name at the back is very tempting...

Kagawa replaces Berbatov

Cracking news to wake up to.

Now for a no-nonsense beast in central midfield.

Wonder what's the formation gonna be if cleverley stays fit all season long.

I can see them playing together, with carrick, in tough away matches though.

great news... Welcome to Utd Shinji :)

a few more quality signing please :)

Shinji Kagawa

Birthdate: 17 March 1989
Position: Midfielder
Previous clubs: FC Miyagi Barcelona, Cerezo Osaka
Current club: Borussia Dortmund

That's a great name for a football club; combination of the Karate Kid and a great team:lol:

Let me translate: "A full agreement has not been reached yet  , the contract hasn't been signed yet, but it's true that negotiations are still taking place... however at the moment I'd like to concentrate on the two international games for Japan and hope the media keep calm for the moment and will support me in this."

Nothing to worry about though, he probably wants to keep this as lowkey as possible for the moment to stop the media from bugging him about this whilst he still has two important games for Japan to concentrate on.

The full agreement not having been reached yet is probably just what he means by the fact that the medical+work permit+signature not having been done yet.

With Cleverley and him next season, we should have a new level of penetration through central areas.

Looks good. My only concern is whether we still have a defensive type midfielder in there. I don't profess to be an expert on formations so I'll be intrigued to see a line up with Kagawa in it

Good news. It shows that we've obviously got some intent with transfer and that Fergie is really looking to improve our squad. I'm going to be very interested to see where he fits into our team next season, especially if we make more signings.

He looks to be a truly class act. Cannot wait to see more of this guy, the speed of foot, quality of decision making, passing and finishing should make him one of the best players in the PL. Looks like we got a real bargain here!

What also really impressed me watching that youtube video again was how well liked he seems to be by the players, management and fans. A real dressing room favourite. Some of the unselfish assists where Scholes like!

This one signing could completely up the tempo of our football for next season. I'm so excited!!
