Where is the white sheet?

And that rain, Shinji will hope to fail the medical.

This feels really under the radar, but thats just how we like it.

Cant wait to see the fella get underway, ive got a feeling he will be a revelation.

He definitely doesn't.

I'm not sure you know what "under the radar" means.

I meant the way hes just wondering in with no sheet, basically no press coverage, just sort of ambling in like hes anybody.

Yeah ok we've had the hubbub of it all a few weeks ago, but if i had not seen this thread i wouldnt have had a clue it was his medical today.

"Shinji Kagawa finished medical & left Bridgewater Hospital at 1:15pm. Now he is off to Carrington for a brief tour & to sign contract."

The official Manchester United website published an interview with a German reporter where one of the questions was "How good a signing is Shinji?"

This deal is about as far from "under the radar" as you can get. The very fact that there is a photo of him going for his medical tells you it isn't "under the radar".

I'm going to draw a mock-up of the soon to be taken Gill-Kagawa photo.

As far as our recent signings goes, it has been under the radar in my eyes.

Compare it go De Geas signing, we had sky sports outside the airport and the hospital ffs.

What about phil jones, sky basically following his car thinking he was off to liverpool, then suddenly detouring up to carrington!

If it weren't for the Euros then there probably would have been more attention on Sky, but just because it's not been broadcast on Sky doesn't mean it's been under the radar.

Suppose so, thats probably why.

Just doesnt seem like the usual hysteria around it all.

I suppose the muppets are having a rest after the whole hazard ordeal.

It was basically confirmed everywhere weeks ago. The whole world knows it's a done deal. It was reported yesterday he'd be having a medical today. And they didn't even bother to get the sheet out for Kagawa, unlike De Gea, because everyone knows. Someone was able to stroll up and get close enough to take a picture of him because they haven't tried to hide it because everyone know's. Nobody in the press has bothered to try and break the story because United broke it weeks ago. It's not under the radar, it's just public knowledge.

Yeah the obvious difference is that this deal was announced weeks ago - so there's no scoop to report about compared to the transfers you mention, Aadam.

Under the radar was perhaps not the best term to use.

I can't think of any other radar-based phrase you could have used, tbf.

You waited?

No, but if I had I'd be feeling very hard done by right now.

Gill is a big man so Kagawa must be a giant as Japanese go.

He's sitting on a bean bag.

And its good to see that he's a leftie. Need more of them on the pitch.
