His cardie became short-sleeved. Are we sure that's really Kagawa?

Where's that chicken burning in a microwave photo when you need it?

 I properly lulzy'd in work there.

It's about time we had a player who knew how to dress with a bit of style. I like him already

Welcome to Manchester....Airport.

say what you want, he adds a bit of class to the place

I think we're going to use Kagawa as a central midfielder most of the time and thus he will be our big name central midfield signing this summer. While Kagawa would be best in the Rooney role, we only use one striker in games that we have to, like against City, Chelsea and Champions League ties.

I don't see us moving away from 4-4-2, especially considering how hell bent Sir Alex was on establishing Welbeck as our top striker last season.

It's been confirmed by Meulensteen that we've been actively searching for a new number 10 for the last 12-18 months and that the management see Kagawa as that new number 10. He's also played that role for Dortmund over the last two years so it would kind of make sense if he plays there for us too.

Yes, here's the interview from the other Kagawa thread:

Google translation of part of an interview Rene did with the Marveld Tournament people:

Raise it to you not out there than in the Dutch youth no play at United. They conclude it is best to view with your football. What about Wesley Sneijder example?

"Now I must always be careful what I say. Call me names than the English press is above them. But Sneijder was a few years ago very concrete. Just won everything with Inter, ready for a new challenge and to us he was the missing link number ten. But he stayed. Afellay is another player. Would suit us very well. But he went to Barcelona. "
"Who we are inside have been Shinji Kagawa, from Borussia Dortmund. I got this year to five times tips to watch it. Decided eventually anyway to do. Great footballer. I am straight to Ferguson explained step and said: here you have a videotape, go look at this player. Even Ferguson was right to. This guy has everything. Great dribbling, eye for space, good running action without the ball, but also able to score a goal themselves.

There's a bit of discussion in that thread about it, which can be seen here.

Completed his move now, official on the United website. 4 year deal, passed medical & got a work permit

Sir Alex Ferguson is delighted to be bringing the midfielder to Old Trafford. He told ManUtd.com: “Shinji is an exciting young midfielder with great skill, vision and a good eye for goal.

"I am delighted he has chosen to come to United. I believe he will make an impact upon the team very quickly as he is suited to United’s style of play. We are all looking forward to working with him."

Kagawa himself can't wait to get started as a Red. He told us: “This is a challenge I am really looking forward to. The Premier League is the best league in the world and Manchester United is such a massive club.

"This is a really exciting time for me and I can’t wait to meet the team and start playing."

Fear not.. we'll coach it out of him before the season starts.

Gill has that rapist smile again.

Also Shinji looks like he's modeling for a poster rather than signing.

And he's right handed in the picture and on the opposite side to what Sol drew :(

Gill's smile though...

There's 11 photos on this link.

He seems to have changed his shirt.

Whats the jersey number Damo?

EDIT: Just checked the pics. This can only mean one thing.

More players are set to sign and its rock paper scissors for 7

I like how they seem to be using it as a table cloth. Nice.

'Kaggy' needs to stop. He's got one of the best first names ever, and people are calling him 'Kaggy'. What's wrong with you people?
