Ajax Cape Town vs. United [Preseason Friendly]

There is a part of me that agrees but my hope after this sort of performance is that we go after a midfielder, this is a decent reminder rather than leaving it before its too late again.
A friendly game against Ajax Cape Town won't change Ferguson's opinion on our midfield.

Hernandez has been poor. He needs to work on his overall game if he is to take his place back from Welbeck. He keeps losing the ball in the tackle, and has a ridiculously poor first touch. And this isn't even a knee-jerk reaction!

Gotta give credit to them. Very athletic and quick- they are pressing our midfield very well and we aren't coping, which is disappointing.

Pretty shite that was. Kagawa and Valencia playing alright.

You get a feeling that Kagawa is going to be involved in a lot of our good work. He's good with the ball around the box. Can't wait to see him link up with Nani, Rooney and Van Persie.

Kagawa involved in all our best stuff that half. Valencia looks lively too. Rest fairly average. Chicharito fairly poor, will hope to see Berbatov and Macheda second half.

Carrick, Ando and Scholes quite sloppy. Throw on Lingard.

Kagawa is sexy. Can definitely see similarities in playing style and movement with Silva.

Blackett has done fantastic. Doesn't look out of place at all, despite being the youngest player in the whole squad. Great weighted pass to get Kagawa in behind the defence near the end of the half, a pass even some of midfielders look incapable of making at the moment.

Huge prospect and has the attributes needed to make it here imo.
