Oh thats fine then
Oh my god is this really happening? feck sake. Why can't we just have a summer of happiness in regards to the transfer window for once? Why do we always have to get rid of players we have gotten attached to emotionally. feck sake.
To sell Nani will be insane.Young is shit so we will be doomed.
He's not though.
Without a doubt,i hope we sell him and recover our losses like Liverpool are doing with Downing.Young is a good player for a midtable team but for a team like Utd he is extremely one dimensional and serious lacking of quality.I would rather see homeless Bebe play before Young.
Miguel Delaney is reportedly saying that Ferguson is fed up with Nani and that he definetely wants to sell him.
Now, if that doesn't turn out to be true, that asshole should be sacked - definetely is what it is!
See i dont believe that at all, if he was fed up then nani wouldnt have played and started against valarenga, barcelona and hannover, then the season opener. Doesnt sound like something fergie would do if he was fed up.
However, you could look at it the other way, that Ferguson was letting him play those matches to get more buyers interested, but if he was regarded shit that wouldn't make much sense as you don't want to show him off when/if he plays poorly..
No chance, people kniw what Nani can do and he had an excellent Euros, there was no need to stick him in a shop window. I mean, why didn't Berba feature then?
Imo it's all complete bollox, just like the Rooney stuff. One off game and all of a sudden SAF is fed up with 2 of his best players, nonsense.
One more thing, why do some fans (not saying I read it here) claim that Nani doesn't work hard in training? How on earth could we know such things, now based on some rumours that he is leaving? - the muppetry really is beyong all belief.
The one problem with reading too much into this quote
Is that it is an incomplete quote, people are only looking at half the quote. I believe what he said was
Perhaps a much different statement. Of course the question I have is was he responding to a question from someone or did he just make the quote out of the blue? If he was asked a question, then what was the question, and then let's take the answer in that context.
SAF has obviously learnt a thing or two about how to treat players during contract negotiations too, some players need their egos massaged, others need to be given the shock of thinking they are not a necessity. It could well be that after a poor game vs. Everton, SAF just wanted to give Nani a wee kick up the arse.
Sure, but if the rumours are true, then Nani really isn't asking too much in the world of football where inflated egoes are walking hand in hand with their inflated pay checks. 130.000 is allegedly about the same, or slightly more than Young...
I agree, but maybe SAF is shaving 10-15k a week off him by showing him that he's not indispensable. Nani's not stupid, he knows this is the best place for him & career right now. There's zero chance of a move to Russia and the window is closing for the rest of Europe, he's going absolutely nowhere, he'll sign a revised contract once the window shuts and he'll be a massive part in us winning trophies this season.
Trust me, I'm always right.

I don't know how Madrid got Modric on a 70k contract. How do you buy a player for 35-42 million euros and pay him 70k pounds a week.
Shaving 10-15 k a week from a guy whose meant to be one of our best players, so that he earns around half of what 2 of our players earn (Rooney/RvP) isn't going to give him the confidence that he obviously craves.
To sell Nani will be insane.Young is shit so we will be doomed.
and as for Nani...25 million???
Get to bollocks.
Saying that though, how can we overvalue him, if he isn't being considered good enough to be placed amongst our highest earners. If he is on less than Young, then that is a joke in my eyes.
Nani has the potential to become one of the best players in the league. Young isn't anywhere near that level, nor will he ever be. If i had to choose between one of them to get rid of, it would be Young without question.
If nani goes, i will start to seriously consider that SAF might be losing the plot. I suggested this might be on the cards a few months ago and was subsequently hounded down for doing so. But i just could not understand why we would go for Hazard and then Lucas, without it affecting Nani or Young.
But considering we did not manage to acquire either one of those 2, wtf would we gain by selling Nani? Who is unplayable on his day! We would be considerably weaker in my view. Nani usually occupies the attentions of a couple of defenders, and we now have even more players capable of exploiting and benefitting from that extra space.
