Manchester United vs. Wigan Athletic

It's a wooden thing that people sit on, often found in parks.

De Gea cost us one goal whilst playing superbly the rest of the time. RvP cost us a goal and did the same. Rafael seems to have gotten lucky.
I'm not serious.

Yeah RVP single handedly won us the game, and he and kagawa both picked up little knocks mid week so it's hardly a surprise that they're on the bench.

There haven't been any reports that he has been injured have there? It doesn't make much sense if he isn't injured. He started off the season reasonably well and this would be a good game to have him as an option.

I haven't read anything about him being injured, but what else would it be? He would at least be making the bench if he was fit.

Why not play our strongest team available? 4 games in and already rotation is well over the top.

Well if you look at the side most of them haven't been involved in internationals. I'm sure that's has some influence.

No idea why Anderson isn't involved though.

Unless we play Valencia there isnt any other real option for now.

I'm really looking foward to watching Buttner play. I think he'll suprise a few - "not just a cover" will hopefully be a thing that will be said after today's game.

Hopefully we'll wrap this up quickly so we can give Powell a bit of game time.

Plus, I really do hope Hernandez gets going today. I would be thrilled for him if he opens his account today - really does deserve it.

Nani has the chance to prove himself and get his place back today, can see most of our attacks coming down his side.

I'm excited to see buttner start and disappointed to see de gea on the bench. I'm ok with the rest.

SAF 500th home league match, Scholes makes his 700th appearance, Giggs 600th PL appearance, Rio's 400th appearance.

I had a dream we won this 8-0 or 8-2, I can't quite remember the exact scoreline but it was one of those two. Van Persie scored 6

I've been reliably informed that Wigan are favorites for this now that van Persie isnt starting...

Prediction:

Dire game where we struggle to get possession.

Giggs to play inside with Welbeck wide.

Scholes to play too deep and Carrick expected to play forward but for him to have nobody alongside him in the final third to pass to.

Despite being a pedestrian, losing the ball various times and floating it onto the head of the oppositions centrebacks a few times all the while we are crying out for Kagawa to replace him... we will eventually see Kagawa replace Welbeck around the 70th minute and for Giggs to be pushed wide to complete his 90 minutes.

Hernandez will be caught by the offside trap numerous times as he runs around looking for an opening with no support.

Nani will be a man on a mission to win the thing by himself and we can toss a coin to see which Nani that will produce.

I'm in a positive mood and looking forward to this. Clearly.

Evra injured or just rested? He didn't have a chance to rest last season so good to take the chance against the smaller teams at home.

Will be interesting to see how we line up. Figured Scholes would play this one and Giggs would play CL. Playing both isn't a great idea for me, giggs can't play left in a 442 and Hernandez isn't a great lone striker. Could be Welbeck on the left though with Giggs of Hernandez. Think we could have started one of valencia/kagawa/RVP though, just to get a good balance from the start, win the game early and then look to rest players but oh well, will have to see how it goes.

If Ando actually is injured again it's a bit of a joke.

Sounds about right.

Quoted. Lets see how many you get right.

Reckon the CL game will have a tasty line up. Ando, Clev, Kagawa, RVP,should all sart that

Ok, with that team I predict a horror show, perhaps with RVP coming off the bench to save the day. Perhaps.

------Lin
Rafael-Vidic-Rio-Buttner
------Carrick
--Schole---Giggs
Nani---------Welbeck
----Hernandez

I reckon

Why isn't DDG playing?

Either way we should have more than enough.

I don't know why we need to rotate the squad like this it just seems like a unforced risk. I just don't see alot of goal threat from the lineup and I just hope we don't struggle to keep possession because I can't see us winning it back that easily.

Giggs and Scholes again starting. Well at least its at home but I'm a bit concerned.

Can't supporters like you just stay in your cave?

Because we have 2 good keepers. The better (prospect) has made mistakes and the other one hasnt let us down yet..
No one is guaranteed a start.

I happy for Lindegaard.. Hope he does brilliantly. De Gea will get his chance again.
