Problem is I don't think SAF sees Evra as a problem. He is played pretty much in every big game.
Well he can't be right on him, otherwise there's a huge gap between him and Evans to exploit.
He has to leave a suitable enough gap so that he's far enough away from his man to close down the ball, but not be miles apart from Evans, which to be fair, he did right the 2nd time around.
The first time he didn't and it cost us a goal though.

Rooney has been good, if we do anything it'll be through him.
We finally got it behind their midfield then but Rooney ended up playing it back to Fletcher and let them all reset.
We would have no clue how to use him anyway. We would have played him on the left wing.
