Manchester United vs. Braga

Dont know how but Foxsoccer manages to make this match sound like american football with their commentary.

I was only half watching, but am I right in saying ITV didn't even show a replay of the 'offside' over HT?

Kagawa's been poor so far, assist aside. First touch is really molesty, and his passing has been off. Luckily Cleverley's having a good game, some very good long ball/crosses from him. Hernandez is doing OK, chasing around well and putting pressure on them.

Why Carrick is playing CB, I'll never know. I'd rather see Wootton there, if Ferdinand absolutely cannot play.

I thought Kagawa played well, once the team got going.

Somewhere in Manchester, Smalling and Jones are thinking " Calm down amol. We got this shit."

They're very inexperienced, though. I can see Smalling making an impact but from what we've seen of his short United career so far, Jones has a lot to learn defensively. Basically we need to improve collectively IMO. Whether you put Rio in there or Evans or Buttner or Evra, we seem to be ropey as hell defensively.

Positive thing is that our attacking play has been very good at times. RvP is fecking class

Vidic needs to come back asap

All those who are asking for rivers, why can't you just bookmark fecking Firstrowsports in your browser? Mac, Windows, IE, Firefox, Chrome, it works on just about anything.

It's one thing playing Wigan at home for Buttner, but this is the Champions League. Awful first half from him.

Just so sloppy at the back. We haven't learned anything. Poor marking and not enough speed of thought.

Attacking wise we have some potential but I don't see enough width in our play. That's where we need wingers to combine with full backs and give us that extra bit of penetration. Cleverley and Kagawa have done their bit but they aren't our most effective players on the flanks. Hairdryer time.

Hopefully SAF is using his hairdryer when it comes to defending, it has been poor. Rafael is the onlyone who has done what was expected of him, IMO

Nani on for Kagawa.
