Manchester United vs. Braga

Yeah, Carrick is the worst CB I've ever seen in my life. Pity he's a fecking midfielder, though.

I very rarely criticize the manager but I think he's cut his nose off to spite his face here. He's made a point by not picking Ferdinand and it's backfired, massively.

If he was really only resting Ferdinand, Carrick would have been whipped off immediately after the second goal, or at least moved into midfield and Ferdy replacing someone else. He hasn't done so, IMO because he left Ferdy out for personal reasons, rather than football reasons.

I don't believe that for a second.

They are home to Braga. That is why we are resting him ahead of Chelsea because he is 33 years old. It's not Ferguson's style to make a snap shot change.

Nani on, hopefully playing in the attacking three rather than reverting to a 4-4-2.

Looked a bit sheepish next to Fergie then Nani, didn't he?

I'm saying in general. Are you going to deny Rooney's been in great form?
And also, I didn't say they won us the game, I said their link up (so far from what we've seen in games where they both played together) is phenomenal. Are you going to deny that?

Yes, I'm a Rooney fan, but nothing in that post I said is anything but true. Do you have a problem with me, Rooney, or me liking Rooney as a player? I don't get it.

Well, I just realized all that time I was discussing with someone who is a fan of Rooney and fans can never be unbiased. There's nothing wrong with being a fan of someone of course. I'm a fan of people too.

He's in good form at the moment, I'd say.

I have no doubt we can pull the goals back, the big question is whether we can stop them scoring again.

Nani looks hungry. It's that sort of dynamism and explosive play we are missing.

I've noticed our corners have started getting past the first man now.
Who knew it could be done.

I thought that was their throw, Evans reaction made it seem so too
