Manchester United vs. Arsenal

We're so shit at penalties

RVP should have had a go at that.

:( now they'll really come at us in the second half, this is a huge boost for them

It's bloody strange, but I can almost always tell whether a pen is going to be missed or scored...just by the taker's body language.

fecking hell Wayne.. just let RVP take em.

Need to improve at pens. It's not the missing them, it's when we do. Important games such as this and Arsenal a couple of years back, and then there was Rooney's against Chelsea last year too.

Well we've won every game that Rooney's missed a penalty in so hope it doesn't come back to bite us back in the arse.

I don't think these should be penalties, in fact about 90% of the penalties from handballs I think are idiotic and shouldn't be given (the exception is the blatant Suarez-like ones).

That said, situations like these almost always result in that, so I wouldn't call it unfair or harsh, just an idiotic rule.

Is Rooney still SAF's choice for penalties or did he take a call to take that one?

Comfortable half, should be at least 2 goals up. I hope we kill the game off soon.

Giggs needs to tutor the others on how to take penalties.

RvP should always take them. Its only a matter of principles that Rooney still takes them.

Defended well, attacked poorly. Weird in the context of our season so far.
